With a Gmail account? What you've been hearing simply isn't true.

Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars --> Accounts (Gmail) --> Click where it says "Account ******@gmail.com>" --> Advanced (at the bottom) --> Change whatever it is you need to change, all options for Archive/Delete are in here.

Ok! Will check! Thanks!

A new animation that I noticed (wasn't in beta 6) is when you move an email to another folder.

In safari, while viewing a web page, I have found it particularly annoying that when I try to tap the 'clock area' to return to the top of the page - that I, instead, accidentally engage the search bar. It sometimes takes me 2-3 tries to get back to the top of the page. Anyone else?

For me it's one tap anywhere to bring up the bottom toolbar and expand address bar and then a tap on the clock to return to the top.

How do I remove the notifications on the "missed" section?
When you lock and unlock the phone they go away from that section. Or alternatively you can actually view those notifications (and/or clear them from the "All" section) to remove them.

To go back up I generally just double tap the clock area and that usually does it pretty quickly.

I can't. They are still there. There's no "clear" option for me at all.

The lock and unlock doesn't work either. I still have it displaying two missed calls on my missed tab.

And you cleared those notifications on both your "All" tab in NC and the phone app itself?

Can you go to your "All" tab, are those same notifications there? Can you clear them from there?

Alternatively, if they are for missed calls, can you open your Phone app and go to the recent calls sections to "view" those missed calls, which should also dismiss them from notification center (whether under "All" or "Missed").

They never were on the "All" tab, but I had to go to the phone app itself and look at the missed calls tab to make it go away.

So that's what made it work. I had to "view" those missed calls on the phone app. Why is that? Seems kinda dumb once I've actually seen the missed calls from the "missed" tab. Or am I missing something here?

Typically that's how you would clear missed call notifications from notification center even in iOS 6 and before, right?

Well you had the option to delete it straightaway from the notification center (iOS 6), which I never got right now.

It really wasn't there in the "All" section? That's strange.

I can't remember. I'll give it a try.

Right, unless you decide to delete it from the "all" section immediately, the missed call will instead appear on the "missed" tab, which can only be "deleted" by visiting the missed calls on the phone app.

Just upgraded my ipad to IOS 7. then all the applications became useless. I deleted them all and start to resync the application on my Itunes to the Ipad from scratch. But after Itune finished syncing I can not open any applications. once I opened them the icon will revert back to "waiting". Also eventhough the Itunes said "finish syncing" and the icon appears on the Ipad screen, they sill not "light up", meaning the icon is still dark like when you're installing it.

Anyone who experience the same situation ?

Any help, guys ???

Clock

Anyone notice the clock hands moving on the clock app? The second hand is moving and it reports the correct time. Sorry if this has already been posted, if so, mods please delete.

How to see a song's complete name without playing it

In iOS 6, when you held your finger down on the name of a song, a popup window displayed the complete name of the song. This is essential when one has numerous versions or remixes of the same song. This feature appears to be gone in iOS 7. Is there a way to see the complete name of a song in the Music application without playing it?

I think my wife experienced an IOS 7 bug today on her iPhone 5. She sends TXT(baby pics) every day to her mom & grandma. This afternoon after sending a few, she realized they weren't being sent and they weren't even showing up in the TXT conversation log. So basically after you went to the gallery, opened a pic, hit share, picked TXT and hit send, it seemed to act like it was sent but if you went to the TXT log, nothing was there. I did another test by first going to the TXT log and added a photo from the icon on the left and it did go correctly but trying to send from the gallery never worked. I powered down the phone and after turning it back on, everything works fine again. She has never experienced that before so I think it's related to IOS 7.
