Anyone getting '"We’re unable to complete your activation.

Are you using the newer version on iTunes?

Quite a few of the smaller features were shared on screens like this.

Screen Shot 2013-06-11 at 11.56.57 AM.jpg

Some that interest me;

 • 60 FPS video capture
 • Barcode Scanning
 • Inter App Audio
 • Expanded Bluetooth LE Profile Support
 • Facetime Audio (YES!!) ( Earlier screen)
 • New Smart Mailboxes (Earlier Screen)
 • Inclineometer (what? (Earlier Screen))

About the "Dynamic" wallpaper: You can turn on the one Apple certified Dynamic wallpaper in Settings>Brightness and Wallpaper, but has anyone found a way to add your own? It is not as simple as choosing a video (you can't choose it)...

Matthew

Phone call => FaceTime => Phone Call

Can it be done? In iOS 6 if I make a phone call then switch to a FaceTime call, I am never able to just end the FaceTime call and go back to a phone call. Can this be done in iOS 7? Or can it be done in iOS 6 and I'm just too stupid to figure it out?

OP, I think I found a new one ;)

Looks like iOS 7 got the ability to redeem gift cards by using the camera like iTunes for Mac. Pretty cool!

They're essentially animated wallpapers. The circles appear, disappear, and move in the background without any user manipulation of the phone

That isn't accurate... they do move based on user manipulation of the phone... the dots will move based on your phone's movement... So they are more than just animated wallpapers

I was just wondering like someone else recently mentioned about making your own or learning more about how they are made... maybe we'll have to try and track down the actual file in the os eventually...

Inclineometer I'm hoping at least measures when you go up and down, so for example when running measures the difference in the height of terrain. I think...

I don't get it.. I though that was a glitch when I seen that screen and restarted my phone.

Yeah. It's a bug. It reverted back now even at 11% so never mind. Weird. I was out in the sun. Dunno if there's anything to that.

Anyone notice that the charging indicator on the top bar pulses, similar to a Mac power light? Sorry, haven't read the whole thread.

Apple wisely made the icons look feminine with some pastel colors and nothing edgy or masculine.

They really know their target market. It's also one of the reasons the phone sells so well. It's tiny, shiny, so the girls and women can accessorize the heck out of an iphone. That's what women love to do, the choices across the spectrum of iPhone accessory companies is mind boggling.

As far as how iOS 7 functions, only time will tell how that goes. I'd guess it will be smooth and easy to use, hallmarks of "it just works". Once again, very appealing to the ladies. Apple's got to be very happy with this style.

This is my #1 dislike about iOS 7.
I don't want pretty girl colors on my expensive black phone.
Removing all signs of masculinity is not something to praise.
Apple should know that tailoring their products for girls and women only actually repels men.
There was no need to do this.

Why should the opinions of a 15 year old girl be more important than an adult man?

It's sexist.

Are you saying its okay to be sexist as long as it sells more and makes more money?

It's not supposed to be a product for girls and women only.

When you go to multitasking view, if you click on the home button again it comes back to the app you were on. I believe it would go to Home Screen on iOS6

lol. YOU are the one assigning mere COLORS to a gender, so if anything YOU are the one being sexist. If you don't like the theme, then fine, that's your prerogative, but DON'T try to spin it as Apple offending your manhood. There happen to be a lot of men who really like it.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned (sorry, but I can't read through 20 pages just to find one comment), but instead of the *new* badge when apps haven't been launched, there's a little dot next to their name. See image:

What does calculator app look like? And newsstand – what's it like now? Is it still a folder or an app? And what does Game center look like now? Could anybody post some screens please?:)

Oh, and I also missed – how do you enter multitasking, double-tap on home button?

Not sure if it was in iOS6:

You can set different sounds, and params for notifications/banners/badges for the accounts in Mail. Pretty neat.
