Not sure if it was posted here before. But today i tried to share a pic i took from my camera roll to fb and twitter, and neither posted to my newsfeed. It is weird, because it goes through the motions as if it posted. But nothing shows on my newsfeed.

Posting pics from my tweetbot and the actual fb app work fine. But it is slow. It just sits there forever, before it finally does its thing.

Belongs in the bug thread. ;)

Nope. Apple added in Flickr and Vimeo as two new sharing options.

I am not sure why apple does not allow 3rd party apps to give you the share options for their apps. Much in the same way with android. If you install instagram for example the share to option shows up in your camera roll with android.

Either that, or apple should have expanded the share to option to more apps besides the flickr and vimeo options they gave us.

Some apps do. The one that pops into my head because I used it today is PicStitch. I can export a photo from PicStitch (through the new sharing menu) to Instagram directly. It seems to be up to the developer to enable something like this or not. Other examples are I can export files and pictures from an app like GoodReader to Box or Dropbox or even between Box and Dropbox.

I managed to read 40 pages of this thread but didn't find it.. So, my apologies if this has been asked already - where is orientation lock? Can't seem to find it in the snapshots posted. Thanks!

It's in Control Center. Swipe up from the bottom of the display and it's the last toggle on the right.

ho, apple, rot in hell... :(

BTW, I really miss those nice twitting\facebook shortcut..

Little excessive ranting there...

I have a feeling its an API that devs can add to their apps.....perhaps I'm wrong, but as another poster mentioned some apps (like dropbox) can be shared to already in iOS 6.....

Apple did say they were adding over 1400 new APIs......I have a feeling there will be a lot more change than we see right now even in just the way apps are updated after launch.

this is how my download of the beta shows on my PC...am i doing something wrong?

According to Apple, it won't. The system will intelligently organize and process the background requests whenever possible. For example, if the app in the background needs to access GPS coordinates, iOS won't give it immediate access to the GPS radio. Instead, it will wait and see if another app actively uses the GPS, and allow access at that point. It will also batch requests, so if 3 apps all need GPS access, it will enable the radio, give all 3 access at once, and disable the radio again.

Interesting. Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see really.

It worked for me when I posted a pic to twitter but the pic app went black and I had to close the app to get it back.

Forgive me if it's been mentioned already, but if you visit Apple's iOS 7 page on an iPhone 5 and scroll down to the "See iOS 7 in action" section, the little preview videos render at the iPhone 5's screen resolution, so when you play the videos it appears as though iOS 7 is running on your device. Pretty slick.

At first I thought you meant the "watch the iOS 7 video". Then I got it, looks great man! Everyone who wonders what it will look like, but aren't developers, should just do what you said.

Thanks man! :)

If you have the WWDC app, there's a really good session video that explains the new multitasking and covers some of these concepts as well as battery saving changes to the old multitasking methods.

Sorry i posted that original message in the wrong thread. I just reverted to using instagram to share my pics to twitter and fb for now. Though that can be inconvenient cause not every pic i want to share on instagram just so i can also share it to fb and twitter.

It is weird that i am having probs sharing pics, but my status posts fine.

I don't have it. I only thought devs could watch the videos on it?

There are shadows in the press images, but not in beta 1.

I posted about this the other day and apparently people are blind cause people told me there were none shown. The images from apple have them but beta 1 does not.

I wonder if its a bug

How does Itune Radio appear to be working? How large does the library appear to be? What are some genre station examples?
