I am on iOS 5.1.1 (yes still) and i am using the EZDecline tweak to get the Accept/Deny buttons when a call comes, instead of the slide to answer thing. Very convenient for me.
Certainly might be for you. For most this has been a standard feature to avoid accidentally answering a call when the phone is locked--in locked state pretty much any action normally requires something more than a simple tap, typically a slide.

Today while driving to my destination using maps to navigate, as soon as I parked and got out/started walking to the building, it said "now switching to walking directions" and continued to navigate

Some Android model phones also do this, yes? I'm glad Apple added it too, it's a nice cosmetic touch.
don't think it's actually working that way in iOS 7. The screen seems to dim in and out to a degree but that's mostly it.

cant seem to find a thread on this, but does anyone have a cool background that works well with iOS 7 and its translucency? I love some of the stock backgrounds that are included, but trying to find something new. I like how changing the backgrounds can give the user a different experience while using the device. Anyone have an awesome background?

I don't understand why Apple didn't make FaceTime Audio the default to take precedent over regular cell calls. The way it should be like how iMessages takes precedent over text messages.

Phone numbers are now unified with Apple ID's so FaceTime Audio SHOULD take precedent.

Reteaching how to better place calls to parents is tough especially when FaceTime Audio is so much better quality and free long distance!

With the limited data and also slow data speeds ( sprint iPhone 4S) this would probably be unwise. But if it was implemented in a way similar to tmobile's wifi calling where the call would automatically go to FaceTime audio whenever the phone is connected to wifi, I can see it happening

You didn't get enough in the the thread that got locked earlier? You just had to jump on this again?

I'm not a dev and I've got it on my phone. Got a problem with that? Take it up with my rear end. That's about how much I care about your opinion and how you seem to like to interject them into every little thing. Guess what? Nobody gives a flying F about your opinion.

Well said.
Wow a bit touchy? I just asked a simple question. No need to be rude about it. I'm assuming its not a beta release for the general public for a reason.

I was able to enable icloud keychain, it asked to supply a security pin (4 digit) and my phone number that can recieve sms, i guess for some security reasons.

Have yet to try it, only have one device with ios7.

how about the now playing in the music app?
does it still have ability to show the lyrics?

yes it does. shows up as a rectangle over most of the album art. words are very hard to read because of the much smaller font

Just a few things...

When charging, there is now a tiny lightning bolt to the right of the battery that pulses.

On the lock screen, 'Slide to Unlock' is acceptable anywhere on the screen.

Yes, some icons are hideous. Seriously, they're hideous.

Photos app is a giant cluster **** now with these 'collections' & 'moments' categories. Hope they straighten this out pronto.

After unlocking the device, the icons drop seperately onto the main screen instead of splash all together.

When opening multitasking, it automatically defaults to show the previous open app.

All previous widgets in Notification Center are nowhere to be found. This includes the share widget, stocks, and weather widgets.

In iMessage, when sending a message, the load bar is kind of similar to Safari's... Thin & blue

The toggles and Control Center are not interchangeable / user selectable. Also, the 4 shortcuts found at the bottom of Control Center are Flashlight Clock Calculator Camera in that order.

Facebook does sync User default photos to Contact Cards - however contact photos are only viewable on Favorites, not contacts list or Recents.

The numerical keypad in Phone becomes fully transparent when desired number is pressed.

When opening a folder, the animation enlarges the folder to display the first 9 apps, then 'pages' just like springboard (swipe R to L)

App Store loads considerably quicker. Also, 'Top Apps' are again displayed in list view rather than scrollable icons. Thank you! Also, a wish list is present.. But I've yet to figure out how to add to it.

In Music, Cover Flow is no more. Instead, there is a (scrollable) grid view that fills the screen in landscape orientation displaying 3x6 (18) album covers each

In all, a great beta release. Stable and smooth for a #1

P.S. Someone before had mentioned the moon is no longer displayed when DND is enabled.. That is FALSE. It still does show, but if too many icons are in your status bar, it does hide.

It doesn't on mine. It only shows it for maybe half a second when you unlock the device. doesn't show it when the screen is locked

[EDIT] quoted wrong post :(

Under DND settings you probably only have the SILENCE setting to
"Only when iPhone is locked" so the moon will only appear when it is locked as this is when DND is active. To have it there all the time you need to chance the SILENCE mode to "Always".

Hope that helps clear it up.

Doing this also enables the DND icon to show up! Otherwise, it will not show up!

Yes, I too would love this in all folders like Junk, Sent and Inbox. Can someone please confirm if this is there?

Works with trash and junk but not with sent or inbox

I upgraded my 4S last night, and all went well, and seems to be working ok.

But this morning I had 250 emails; upon checking they are in fact all very old emails, up to 2 years old, that the phone had for some reason decided to download en masse from the IMAP server.

The inbox has over 300 mails in it; previously there would only be a few before it giving me to=he option to download more from server.

The font for the email list seems to be larger too, resulting on only 5 showing on one screen.

I'm not a dev and don't have iOS7 on my phone but been following this thread to see what it offers - looking forward to its general release later in the year.

I do have a question for all you testers however: When you installed iOS7, did it keep your existing apps in the same folders you had them in, in iOS6 or did just throw them all back on to the home screen all together and you had to re-organize them again...?!

Is this a bug?

Is this a bug?

Don't know if this has been mentioned. The "Edit" option has been removed from the messages app - So now if you want to forward / delete a message you need to hold the message bubble and choose more.

Just seems a little more long winded!
