Hi, Guys !
As soon as I've installed IOS 7b1 on my IPhone 5 - synchronization with ITunes over the wireless network just stopped working. I've tried everything: restart IPhone, restart ITunes, restart Mountain Lion- nothing made this work.
I think this is one of the bugs in new IOS 7b1.
Does anybody notice this problem ?
Thanks, figaro331:confused::eek::eek:

From the release notes:

Sync
Known Issues: The Wi-Fi sync option in iTunes is checked, but Wi-Fi devices do not appear in iTunes. Workaround: On OS X, install the iOS 7.0 SDK after installing iTunes. Wi-Fi sync is not supported on Windows

I don't really like it. I know how to get home, and I can't turn it off. Hopefully in the coming betas there will be a setting to turn it off. Also, more settings for today view.

You know how to get home from everywhere you go? You need to get out more...:p

I think it is actually more helpful when I'm leaving work and want to check traffic/travel time...I think that is what most will use it for. No different than why I check GoogleNow just am I'm leaving work.

I have a few questions that I wondered if someone could help me with please.

1: Are you able to block non-iPhone numbers?

Yes

2: Is it possible to block numbers from either calling me, sending me text messages, and lastly Facetiming me or is the blocking not as widespread as that?

I blocked one number as a test (plus the person was annoying me), and it blocked them in Messages, FaceTime and Calls all at once.

3: Is the blocking feature, a mobile network option or standard for anyone using iOS 7? (I wondered if it had to be controlled by the networks first).

It's standard for anyone on iOS 7.

Your iPhone still receives calls/messages/facetimes from blocked people, it just doesn't tell you. :p

Is the App Store keeping a record of all the updates that were installed for everyone? It seems like there's this ongoing list of already installed updates on the update screen in the App Store and doesn't look like there's any way to clear it out.

Yeah, this is a new feature. Instead of clearing out the apps you've updated, now you're able to see what you've updated and when. I'm assuming this is due to the change to background updating of apps. With this list, now you're able to go check the change log of what you've updated.

They disappear when you open the apps.

I noticed something. If you can use "Open with.." with a file you can use AirDrop with that file too. Not sure if this happens with every file. In my case it was a PDF.

Edit: It works with an MP3 file too! Using another app than Music.

Doesn't seem to happen for me. Just have a long list of all the updates apps over the past few days and they all stay there whether or not I open them and even use them on a daily basis.

Zoom in effect

I love how when you open a folder it zooms in and when you open an app from the folder it zooms into the app. I like that logical flow instead of the app just opening.

Actually you're right, they don't. Not sure why I thought they did.

The dock's height is 64 px and has a field blur of 80 px aprox.

Discovered that by playing on photoshop.

Does anyone know how to turn off automatic updates only when I'm on cellular? I want my apps to auto update but only over wifi. There is an option to turn off cellular, but it also disables iTunes Match & iTunes Radio when not connected to wifi.

Settings > iTunes & App Store > Use Cellular Data

This toggle is for all automatic downloads and iTunes Match.

I tested the blocking too. I noticed that it sends calls to voicemail then hides the voicemails in a separate folder. Is there a place it hides the blocked texts and iMessages? Or are they just totally ignored?

Cellular Data usage

Apparently data usage is shown, along with with usage for each app. I don't have a screen cap right now, but it should be in Settings<Cellular and just scroll down.

Extra slow animations unfortunately.

Do you have to have iTunes Match turned on in your iPhone to avoid ads in iTunes radio? I'm a subscriber, but I still have to deal with ads.

63 pages is a lot to search through but a cool feature indeed. While shooting video you get a secondary white button that allows you to take a photo while still video recording.

This was already a feature in iOS 6, but yes, the app has been redesigned.
