My folders only have 9 apps in them. I cannot swipe of move (despite there being movement when I swipe). The apps are somewhere because I can search for them.

Anyone know what's happened?

As an actual dev I was being facetious. No one has to answer for these bugs until September, Apple never does.

gotcha...its hard to tell who is an actual dev and who isn't..lol. im an actual dev myself. i like to receive feedback on my apps when a new iOS comes out, plus i also report my feedback to the app developers.

Set Up
Phone: iPhone 5 – A1429 (Worldwide)
System: iOS 7 beta1

Update process:Restored iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.4 and set it up as new.
Upgraded to the iOS7 beta1 and set it up as a new phone as well.
Restarted phone twice just because ..

In use: 1 day

Bugs and errors so far:
System:

Static buzzing noise came out of the iPhone .. WEIRD

Battery: Pretty bad battery life overall.
First hour 100 % drop to 92% seems okay but then it starts to drop
rapidly (~72% with 2 hours in use)
Seems to be overheating especially using apps that require an internet
connection.

Animations: The fade in and out when closing an app seems too fast instead of too
slow ironically. It almost makes me dizzy jumping between apps
because it fades in and out too quickly.
Push notification is too wide in the status bar?
(hope this is not a feature)

Font and Words:Words do not fit properly or overlap in some parts of the system but this may be an issue with the german language however because our words tend to be longer than their English counterparts.
Not fully translated yet, some things are still in English

Wallpaper:No default wallpapers unless you synch random pictures with iPhoto.
Animated wallpaper lag a bit (do not use it anyway > battery life)

Lockscreen:
Time and Music Control seem to overlap occasionally.
The new centered “unlock” is not very usability friendly, especially with
Control Center enabled. It makes it seem like you have to pull up
or tap to unlock instead of the swiping to the side we got used to.
The Arrow on top to pull down the notification center is oddly placed in
in general with all the other stuff going on up “there”.

iMessages:
Activation: Took a few tries to activate because the tiny slider would not move
which instead would crash the app. It started to activate after I disabled
manual time zone.

Using it: The app occasionally crashes when you send and receive something
at the same time.
Sometimes the sentence you wrote previously gets “stuck” on the
type field and you can write over it. Leaving the conversation fixes it
Text bubbles are lagging a bit.
Conversation box got cut off and moved to the side when you switch orientation sometimes. (Layout issue)
Text traces stuck behind the keyboard lol (faded away after a while)

iMessages do get synched between iDevices on iOS6 and my Mac however!
This was very important to me so *phew

Clock:
Icon: It is one hour behind the actual time

Calendar: No appointment indicator dot in month view

Reminders:
The “cards” of upcoming and finished reminders sometimes overlap.
Layout issue I guess

Music: Album art is all over the place in artist and album view but
shows the correct album covers when you select an artist.
iTunes Radio freezes the app sometimes
Music Control overlaps with the Clock on the Lockscreen sometimes.
Album Cover on the Lockscreen looks like crap, I hope this is a bug
not a feature

Phone: no issue so far

Photo: no issues so far

Mail: doesnt response sometimes (opening it again helps)

Weather: works fine and looks beautiful (one minor formatting issue with the
yahoo logo not fitting on the screen)

App Store: “Purchased” does not show anything
Previously bought apps show the price instead of the “download”
button but you do not get charged when you click on it however.

Safari: no issues so far

3rd party Apps:
Look a bit … but that's to be expected as they aren’t updated just yet (some formatting issues and old keyboard)

Viber: Took a while to synch my contacts
Black bar at the bottom (formatting issue)

WhatsApp: works fine

Facebook: works, few layout issues (when hiding posts for example)

Miso: does not work – crashes but it is not even updated for the iPhone 5
so I am not really surprised.

To sum it all up – the Beta works pretty good in my opinion. No complete reboot or system crash to the lockscreen so far. Only some apps like iMessage occasionally crash but that's no big deal. I thought the experience would be worse reading all those issues people have on hear.

Biggest annoyance thus far is the battery life which makes me kinda paranoid even using anything :D Lets hope beta2 improves on this aspect

Runkeeper GPS

Regarding the Runkeeper App, I updated my iPhone 4 to the iOS beta last night and went for my first run this afternoon... I figured something was up when the nice lady announced my average pace per KM as 1:34... so I took a look at the GPS track when I got home and either I ran 14+km in alarming fast time or I was on drugs or drunk as a skunk as that was one seriously crazy GPS track ;-)

Gonna call this a fail for Beta 1, hopefully it gets resolved in the next round or with an app update or I'll be looking for ways to revert.

Is anyone else finding that with the phone in their pocket the 'slide to unlock' is being activated? Just managed to lock myself out of my phone on my walk to work this morning because it slid open to the password page and then entered it incorrectly.

I imaged iOS7 onto my iPhone 5 (UK) last night.

1Password: I could open, sync and browse the data fine. But I couldn't copy anything to my clipboard, in order to paste into another app.
The Economist: Opens but then soon dies as it tries to sync. Dodgy bordering, and wouldn't load the magazine.
FT: This is an HTML5 app which somehow blacked out the indicator bar (clock, battery, signal). Could barely browse articles.
Day One: Opened, synced and works perfectly. Only thing worth mentioning is that the search bar looks very out of place... you'll know when you see.
Downcast: Seemed to work.

Other than that, everything seemed OK. I noticed some rather jittery transitioning, smooth settings screen, unexpected apps closing, the occasional reboot and quite a few black screens. Initial impressions of the battery were OK. Didn't seem much different. In fact, the biggest annoyance was downloading applications at the start - I couldn't cancel the download.

Overall: Loving the new look, works great. The Beta 1 is certainly miles ahead of other Betas I've tested, but not enough for my main mobile phone. Looks like I'll need to invest in a secondary.

I'm sure it's previously been mentioned, but when I'm downloading or updating an app I can't open any other apps or the download restarts itself. It took me a while to figure out that WhatsApp was installing so slowly last night because of this!

Also, upon one occasion I restarted my phone and simply wasn't prompted to enter in my SIM's PIN code.

That's apart from small graphical and keyboard issues, of course.

I have a 4S, i feel this is really really undercooked for this phone. I know they will get better in time, but how do you guys/gals feel it runs on the 4?

Overall performance on my 4S is bordering sluggish. It isn't as fluid as it was in iOS 6, but it's the first beta after all and it's still pretty decent. Performance goes back to optimum after a reboot but goes back to sluggish after a while. Oh and upon checking Diagnostics and Usage in settings there seems to be quite a lot of entries that say "Low memory" as well.

I have noticed im not having alot of the issues most people are having. Ive tried to make stuff crash by replicating and it still works fine. One issue i had was my phone would only charge to 96 percent and the battery life is terrible even with 4g off .

My iphone 4 wont turn on.. What the should i do? It must be bricked because i set an alarm for this morning when i went to sleep and woke up late because of no alarm and couldn't turn the iphone on. Is DFU the only way?

EDIT: Somehow it managed to turn on now.

If anybody banks with Santander in the UK. That app seems to crash on start up. Apart from that, I'm doing great! And my app is coming along nicely.

Apologies if this has been mentioned, but has anyone had trouble backing up to iCloud? It fails for me. Using i4S.

Has no one else run into this? It's not backing up when it's on charge and it fails to do it manually. It just says the 'Last Backup could not be completed'.

Calendar: No appointment indicator dot in month view

Great list you put together!

I hope the calendar thing is a bug, rather than a design choice, as it renders month view useless in terms of being able to check which days you already have appointments set.

Another aspect, which has no doubt been mentioned, is the change from cover flow in Music to an album art tile based system.

I personally think this'll be good as you can see more albums at once.

Trouble is, at the moment the album covers aren't appearing for me - I take it others are experiencing this?

If multiple photos pinned to a location are available, clicking the pin only says the number of photos, you can't view all taken at that spot.

Photo Stream doesn't seem to work.

Voice Memos is gone.

Spotlight search/iMesage search doesn't work at all for me.

It is impossible to view/edit track ratings in the new Music app. It seems no one has mentioned this before... Am I the only one, who is using ratings to sort playlists?

At least for me I noticed that 'Do Not Disturb' function either does not work or does not display the Moon icon like it did in iOS 6. I have it setup to automatically go on form 22:00-05:00 but nothing happened..also tried manually enabling it and no icon either

Ebay isnt working

Everytime I try to open eBay is crashes. The voicemail crashing is also really annoying. I also hate that you cant get it to speak messgaes. Before if you held a specific message the option for "speak" would come up. Now its just copy and more

yeah I do! and mentioned it a few pages back. I can rate the songs in iTunes, but can't find it in the OS anymore.

I use it to make playlists as well lol.

----------

Photobucket app is crashing on me when I attempt to login. anyone else?

Not sure if it's been noted but if you define a word in a safari there's now at to go back. You would have to close out the app from multi taking tray.

It looks like there was an auto-update of Instagram that failed, so now its stuck on "Waiting". When I hold my finger down on the app, I have no option to delete it.

I have reset my phone and the issue is persisting.
