whats the longest u guys got out the battery thus far? currently 3,5h in use and at 45%. i can literally watch it drop. drains especially using anything that requires an internet connection

About 5 hours from 100% to 5% for me. Granted I was using it a bit more than usual, and it did get hot under use.

Regarding the Runkeeper App, I updated my iPhone 4 to the iOS beta last night and went for my first run this afternoon... I figured something was up when the nice lady announced my average pace per KM as 1:34... so I took a look at the GPS track when I got home and either I ran 14+km in alarming fast time or I was on drugs or drunk as a skunk as that was one seriously crazy GPS track ;-)

Gonna call this a fail for Beta 1, hopefully it gets resolved in the next round or with an app update or I'll be looking for ways to revert.

I have the same problem! a great mistake from Apple!

I'm not sure if this is a bug I just downloaded ios 7 and sometimes when I slide to unlock to the right it doesn't work. Sliding to the left works this is only at random times

It's on and working, it's just that the moon icon doesn't show up when the phone is active. When you lock the phone you'll see the moon icon, but when you wake it up the icon is no longer next to the time.

I'm running iOS 7 on an iPhone 5 and have been pretty lucky so far, really haven't experienced any major issues.

The one thing I have noticed, which I really don't like is that the vibration feature no longer works. The phone won't vibrate on notifications, texts, or phone calls.

Interesting I will give it a shot, I guess i was looking for the icon to show up like it did on iOS 6.. Thanks!
Does that mean it goes off 'do not disturb' while it is active and goes back right into it when its locked? or is it always on DND just wont show the icon while its active?

Anyone experienced the date and time bug?

I cannot set my time automatically, which causes iMessage to not function. And when I set it manually my timezone can't be changed from GMT. Causing all my apps to have time difference like Facebook notifications, etc

Speaking of Whatsapp, does anyone have a problem with keyboard? the typing bar disappear if I was switching to another chat room.

Actually, yes. It disappears, but if you tap on the chat and make the keyboard disappear too, the typing bar comes back. Then you just tap on the bar and the keyboard comes back and it works fine.

My question is the following:

I have an iphone 4 and i updated it to ios 7 and the lack of the blurred layers are really annoying and the apple site wrote that it is not available on the i4 devices.
On the top of the page, there's a headline about that everything can change.
But my question is, that what do u think, is there any chances to have the blurred layers? Because it is now like to use an ios 2.0 or idk. Thank you!

For those trying to use podcasts, I recommend Downcast - I've seen zero issues with it in iOS 7. It's universal and their Mac version is due in only weeks!

I ak=lso had my phone heating up then went to settings and there was a option to erase all settings(not data and settings but just settings). I did it and saw the difference almost instantly, my phone no longer heats up in simple tasks and battery life feals like in ios 6 agian.( this will not erase any of your appd of photos or information).

One bug I found is after the alarm rings, it turns the alarm off even if you have it set for the next day. So i have to turn on the alarm every night

I'm going to try this right now and see what happens. I hope it works on mine! It gets so hot and the battery sucks! I took it out of it's case because I was scared it would get too hot.

this is my first time ever using a dev version of an OS... how does this one compare to others?

some apps dont adjust to the screen when you open them, right away.
I had issues updating apps over lte. They just froze in the waiting phase.

Call yourself. Depending on what provider you're on and what settings you've made, you'll either get the voicemail menu, a password prompt, or your outgoing message. If you get your outgoing message, press star or pound (don't remember which).

No, if you aren't a developer you shouldn't be using iOS 7. it states in the release notes for 7.0 beta 1 that it isn't available to iPhone 4. It probably won't be available either this will be the limited release on your device. Things that aren't supported are:

- Animated Weather
- Parallax Wallpaper
- Translucency
- Blurred Layers
- Dynamic Wallpaper

I HIGHLY doubt you will get these features either because your device is a single core device. This release is probably optimized for dual core A5 chips and Higher.

My pass code (4 digit) is working as good as ever. I did an update rather than a clean install and it was enabled before I upgraded so maybe that is the difference?
