IN DEPTH RESEARCH ON BUGS THAT ARE PRESENT

----Bugs Noticed----

music app doesn’t play selecting song
apps don’t update
lag
random shutoffs
battery life
3rd party apps crash
notifications doesn’t go away after deleting them
safari doesn’t load/ when selecting state for checkout state won’t select
messages doesn’t move down when sent text/iMessage
maps slow
multitasking slow in response

I have noticed the messages not scrolling down all the way when a text is sent. Sometimes when I receive a text and open it the thread isn't scrolled fully down to the whole text.
As far as third party apps crashing I don't think I'd call that a "bug."

Have had no major problems up until now but last night I was walking around the boardwalk and I felt my phone get really got in my pocket out of nowhere and the batter had literally dropped 40% in about 30 minutes. Weird.... I check background apps and not much was open.

Downloading music from iTunes Match has been the most buggiest thing I've seen is iOS 7.

Identical songs would download 3 or 4 times from some reason. Also, when I uncheck "Show all music,"

I don't see all of my artists in the artists view, but when I view in album view, I see find artist I was looking for.

Using the music app while playing music has caused the screen to go to the Apple logo many times. The only other times that happened was when I swiped away 3 apps in Multitasking at the same time.

Only about 20% of my albums show album artwork when rotating to landscape.

has anybody checked if there whole Camera Roll back up shows up when setting up as new iPhone? I merely did an update not a full restore at first but decided to do a clean, fresh restore today and now about only half of my pictures are showing up on Photo Stream. Only 88 MB of Camera Roll shows up yet my next Camera Roll back up still claims 220 MB.

Happens after I choose a pic.

I think I have an idea of what is happening here. I went to a concert last night and the same thing happened to me. Today I was reading on battery issues and someone suggest to go into settings and turn on reduce movement under the accessibility menu. It just clicked now that their new fancy feature where your photos moves is also enabled while your screen is dimmed. You can see where I am going with this and why it would destroy your battery, particularly if you are moving around a lot (dancing). I am sure they will find a fix for this.

Could just be a coincidence that you happened to be sending a picture.

Some of my albums are showing up like 3x in the music app it makes no sense what so ever. Is anyone else having this problem?

For the drop down selection lists in Settings, the choice isn't reflected until I go back one step in Settings and then select the category again.

For example, I go to Safari, then Search engine, and change it to Bing. It will still say Google until I go back to the general Settings and hit Safari again.

Swiping to the "wrong" side in Safari does nothing. It should either close the tab or do something else. But that isn't really a bug.

For the life of me, I can't figure out the Reminders cards. And none of them or my Calendar alerts seem to appear in Notification Center.

As for calendar, not being able to see what days have events at a glance is really hard.

Having a larger amount of white or light colour in backgrounds is a no go.

Can anyone confirm that any of these are working/usable/not crashing?
  • Foursquare
  • MyFitnessPal
  • Fitocracy
  • Tumblr
  • Vine (confirmed by ocrane WORKING)
  • Amazon (confirmed by ocrane WORKING)
  • eBay (confirmed by ocrane WORKING)
  • Growlr (haha)

Tumblr works. I would downgrade faster than lightning if it didn't.

This one was kinda weird. I was in the iTunes store searching for a particular song. Found it, previewed it, and while listening I tapped the Buy button. Put in my password, then I tapped on the More tab and chose Downloads so I could watch the download finish. Right then the song I was previewing ended and disappeared. It moved the download list up to where I couldn't see the song downloading anymore. It was behind the top bar. If I pulled the list down I could still see it, but if I let go it would snap back up outta sight again.

So I've had a search through the thread and can't seem to find any mention of this..I noticed on the apple site that the camera should have transparent bars at the top and bottom of it, mine is actually black, anyone else noticed this?

Oh okay then. Strange that they chose to put black borders around the screen just for taking photos but at least I know it's not a bug now :) thanks

I can't seem to see an option to download an entire playlist from the cloud. The option is there for album and artist but not playlist. I hope this is a bug and not a permanent change as I created a playlist with all of my music so I wouldn't have to download album by album!
As an aside, I only just registered but used the suggest password option in keychain. Worked like a dream- love it!
In terms of usability, I have had a few glitches but I'm amazed at how stable this beta is.

Every once in a while on my iPhone 4S, randomly, the dock on the homescreen will go half transparent, half not, split right down the middle. It's weird, and I'm having a hard time catching it to take a screenshot.

I couldn't see this one posted but does seem to be an issue with iOS 7. When headphones are plugged in the sound playback is crackling/static. It sounds like one of those poorly recorded videos at a concert/party with music on very loud but quality is that bad you can't even understand any of it.

Happens to any sort of headphones plugged in. Isn't the actual phone itself as I downgraded and it worked just fine.

I had this too. If you go into settings, general, accessibility and turn off ambient audio and turn on and off mono sound it fixes it.

Seen this when double-tapping home to go to multitasking switcher, then immediately returning to the home screen.

It's the bit of the dock that goes "off screen" that gets corrupted.

After setting up a wallpaper, which is a royal PITA, the wallpaper jumps all over the screen when opening and closing different app folders.

I've noticed that my notification settings aren't always saving on my e-mail accounts; I have it set to put it on my lockscreen when I get an e-mail and after an hour or so it changes the setting back to no longer notify me in notification centre.

I also had it randomly turn off one of my mail accounts so it was only syncing contacts, and last night iMessage decided to turn itself off. Seems settings are sometimes getting reset.

Just noticed this issue when using Dropbox, and it seems the dropbox app refuses to let you use control centre while its active.
