iOS 7 Beta 4 Bug Fixes and Changes

Camera.app/photos.app Bug

Using an iPhone with a passcode open the lockscreen camera and take a photo. Then view the photo and it should be labelled photo 1 out of 1. If you then delete the photo and press the "done" button the most recent photo taken with the camera is visible in the bottom left. When you try and view the photo, the screen saying "Unlock your iPhone to see all your photos and videos" appears.

Can no longer skip or replay songs w/ Apple earbuds remote and iOS7 beta 4

I can start a song via the remote using iOS7's music app but can't skip or replay via the remote w/ the device locked or unlocked. This was working fine in iOS7 beta 3 :mad:

This was like that at least in beta 3 as well. Too bad the music controls come back after that once the screen turns off and is then turned back on (by a notification or manually).

Yeah, some people reported this in beta 4, and some of the landscape and status bar issues were there before too. Some UI bugs that still haven't been addressed throughout all the betas.

If it recognizes that your background is light enough (someone made an entire thread dedicated to figuring out what part of the wallpaper had to be how light), it will automatically change the text on the homescreen (so carrier, clock, battery, app and folder names) to black/dark grey (later betas).

Right the text has always changed for me but never Emoji. Even when I had white wallpapers in the past the emoji remained colorful. The fact that they all turned dark grey this time around makes me think it's a bug.

See my post above. Whenever I had a white wallpaper in the past the Emoji still remained colorful. It's not like it's standard white text that would get lost in the background if you put on a white wallpaper. This is the first time this has happened to me with Emoji in all 4 betas.
 
So sad.. this bug on beta 4 on the Apple Earpods that the play/pause button doesn't function anymore.. so sad, i hope on the next beta it could be fixed..

also is it me that noticed this? when changing a wallpaper.. you cannot fully minimize more the picture only specific parts of the picture.. so, when changing the wallpaper and if u want the picture. it cannot be done anymore.. pls correct me if i'm wrong thank you :)
 
Not sure if this bug has been noticed, but when entering the pass code sometimes the dots at the top disappear, iv entered 3 out of 4 digits and the first two dots have changed.

Running beta 4 on i5.

has anyone tried like.. changing the wallpaper, and then you suddenly realized you want the fullpicture of the wallpaper but then, you cannot fully minimize it anymore? :confused:

I am using beta 4 on iPhone 4S and what bugs me is that i want to have certain wallpaper which is 960x640. I cant have it in full size because of parallax - it will try to make it larger so then it can move around. I dont like that, I had to turn it off and then it will let me use my wallpaper in normal size. I dont know if this was in the previous betas.

It's obviously a bug ... They didn't tweak the radio or the equation for signal strength ... This happen a few years ago with iOS 4 on the iPhone 4 if I remember along with antennagate. according to apple the issue with the iPhone was in the iOS at first they said that it was the equation they were using...so no it's a bug ! (And some one don't go off on the fact that maybe my time line isn't right but the story is true.. It's been 2-3 years since this happen ) I have all dots (bars ) with tmobile USA ... Having full bars with tmobile is unusual ! However that's only with hspda if I turn on lte and in under lte coverage my bars are accurate... Besides that I haven't found any other bugs on mine ... I restored to beta 3 before upgrading to beta 4.
 
Beta 4 has been much smoother overall. Im very happy the wifi bug was fixed it was annoying my devices kept forgetting my wifi password.

I didnt notice it listed on the front page.. But the attachment box in the mail app has chanched.. It was a rectangle.. Now its squar

to me (iPhone 4S 32GB), Parallax motion seems exceptionally taxing. I can see it's not completely smooth (stuttery motion, if you look really closely)
And turning it on automatically heats up the phone, draining the battery

Yeah I have that bug. Not too big of a deal.

They look to be the only ones. If you click Delete, the text changes to say Download, but then when I left that screen and then went back to it, the ones I deleted had disappeared and I can't find away to get them back. I'm gonna report it as a bug later.

Also, notifications shown on lock screen should swipe in either direction.

You should be able to swipe more the one tab at a time. Like multitasking.
