IOS7 Beta 3 had some bugs but didn't really crash/restart.

I've lost count of how many random restarts/crashes I've had on my iphone 5 running beta 4.

One seemingly consistent event is from a locked screen, pull down notification center and swipe left, RESTART.

Also in IOS7 are all apps in the multitask view actually running? I didn't really pay attention in IOS6 because it seemed I didn't need to. After closing everything I noticed that everything was a little quicker and less apps randomly quit.

Crash Settings:
1. Turn on wifi
2. Press the little circled "i" next to a network
3. Go back

Worked every time for me on iPhone 5 b4. Don't know if it works for an already joined network.

The album artwork on the lock screen is kind of blurry (unintentionally) for all my songs.

Plus, in the clock app it takes ages to delete alarms from the list because it takes so long to show the full sliding animation :/ Noticed this throughout the OS though, eg: in iOS 6 you didn't have to wait for the unlock animation to finish before sliding through app pages, but in iOS 7 you do... which takes way longer. This'll probably be fixed though.

Overall though, it's fixed most the bugs I've experienced, only little glitches and UI hiccups remain. Battery life is back to iOS6 length again now, if a little longer (with parallax off).

I had this happen earlier today on iPhone 5, soft reset fixed it! Just turn the phone on and off.

Thanks!

Another issue I've been having with b4 is creating calendar events. After typing the name of the event, if you immediately go to change the time/date, calendar.app crashes. Soft & hard reboot with no avail. I have to create an event, save it, and then go back into it to change the time/date. iPhone 4

Haven't read through all the posts here. Beta 4 on my iPhone 5 is displaying all kinds of bugs I never seen in any other beta. I have DFU restored it and set up as a new phone and they still exist. Respringing, random vibrations, music app flashing white and black when scrolling, home screen dots vanishing, full dots in signal, unresponsive touchscreen. I know its a beta of course, but I don't see many user improvements in the UI, just more visible crashes and bugs - even though other aspects seem better.

I suggest in lieu of the dots for signal strength in Beta 4, use Field Test Mode for signal strength due to the bug.

From pocketnow article:

Dial *3001#12345#* into your phone.

The signal bars will be replaced with a number (like -85). The more negative the number, the worse the signal is. Example: -110 is worse than -85. Once activated, you can switch between signal bars and number by touching on the number.

-100 to -120 means not-so-great signal. -95 to -100 is acceptable for a call but usually average at best with data. -60 to -90 is very good.

Now, I haven't tested to see if Field Test Mode can still be activated in iOS 7 since I've had it activated since iOS 5 and its been carried over through my backups, but I would guess that it can be.

I see one.

Hmmm interesting. Thanks for checking.

Never mind found out the problem. I hadn't yet used the camera when I my phone was unlocked. I have used it from lock screen though. As soon as I opened the camera while unlocked option came up for location and is now showing under locations.

boshi, while I have you on here can you see if you can add a station to iRadio? I have tried several times with know luck. This way I can find out if it is a common bug or not. Thanks.

I can't.

Since i have updated from B3 to B4 there is a "1" on settings app. It's not a big deal but kinda annoying. Is there anyone experiencing that "problem"? Or anyone with a fix? (BTW I did a clean install and then restored from my last iTunes Backup and still have the same issue)

Have you tried not restoring your backup?

I dont know if this is new for b4 but i just found out that when you tap the artist/song on control center it will launch the app the app that is playing music.

I followed your steps several times using Safari. I couldn't duplicate the bug. Every time I tried it, the status bar was correctly oriented on the home screen.

As you push the home button for the second time, begin rotating it back to portrait mode. Did it to mine.
