This is what I'm trying to figure out too. Also can't this app be removed like launcher or does it do something a different way to avoid breaking rules?

simple and on point

That looked so good that I got the app and upgraded to premium.

I downloaded the TV tracker app too. Nice widget, but what in the world is it syncing with? It's not on the iPad and not on the Mac or anything. It's syncing with iCloud, but what with???

It's currently backing up to iCloud and syncing with iCloud. I believe there is a Mac widget (the old Dashboard kind) and an iPad version is in the works.

I just got the iPhone version on the iPad , is not like your going to opening the app a lot , I use this for reminders of my tv shows in widgets
I got the premium version and was able to sync all my shows from iPhone to iPad

What's the name of the Mac app ? I can't find it

Does anybody know any widget for battery usage (not battery status)....that is, what you see under Settings > General > Usage > Battery usage? I would be happy even if the widget showed only the 'time since last full charge' section

Anyone know an app with a currency converter widget? My favourite app "Amount" does not have one and that's a big letdown.

Only just started using Notification Centre (I know!). Best weather widget folks?

Hard to say really. Forecast+ looks the best IMO, but reviews say that it's rather inaccurate when compared to more trusted sources.

WeatherPro is good, but looks absolutely awful.

Personally I'm waiting for the BBC to update their weather app with a widget, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't. They recently released an update but with no widget.

Someone probably has a better answer and I think there are other good looking widgets besides Forecast+, I definitely saw one which looked really good but simply can't find it in my history anymore. Wish I saved that one.

This might help: http://9to5mac.com/2014/09/26/ios-8-weather-widgets-best/

Personal experience:

Forecast+ is accurate in my area for perhaps 2 days out. Past that, it's been wrong every time I've checked...by a lot. So if you just want a little more detailed view of today & a forecast for tomorrow, it's not a bad option. But don't schedule your whole week depending on it. :D

NOAA Radar Pro: Takes up too much space for amount of info provided. Forecasts day by hours, no forecast further out.

eWeatherHD (which is my primary go-to weather app): WAY way way too much space. Hard to read. Forecasts day by hours.

Dark Sky: forecasts ONLY the next hour, with conditions and "feels like" temp. That said, this one projects to the minute when rain will hit your location, so it's very specialized. I haven't had it long enough to confirm its accuracy.

Basically, it comes down to what you want to see, and how much space you want let it take up in the NC. For a lot of people (like my husband), the stock weather widget is just fine.

Sounds like Forecast+ would be the one...if they would just fixed the accuracy.

I'm keeping an eye on it until I see an update and hopefully better reviews. If only Apple would just make their weather widget like the one in iOS6 but with an iOS7/8 look.

Weather Underground is fairly good but only has the current day. The Weather Channel and AccuWeather also have widgets.

Yeah, part of the problem with Forecast+ is the dev has never said where the weather info is pulling from. It seems so hit or miss when I compare it to any app I have.

One thing he did get very right as far as I'm concerned is that the forecast for the week requires a tap before it drops down. When you have several widgets, that extra space required to show a five day forecast is annoying--how many times a day do you need to see it? Better for me if it's out of sight until I need it. If they could get the forecasting reasonably accurate, it would be one of the best choices in general.

That said, right now it's Dark Sky for me, and I'm back to opening an actual app that I trust if I need a forecast for more than the next hour. I think for my own needs, I probably don't need to know more than that in the NC--it's just a quick "Is it going to be freaking pouring out while I run this errand? No? Cool." or "Do I need a jacket?"

If I need more info than that, opening an app isn't going to take me that much longer.

Mobile Mouse has a great widget (updated and working)

Are there any other frequently updated lists that anyone has found (forum or youtube) as there seems to be a lot missing from the list in the first post

The stupid Reminders widget does not refresh unless I change the reminder due date, anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't found any decent widget for currency converter (Wdgts is very cluttered and the padding bugs me like hell), anyone know any?

This is my current setup:

All of you guys seem to be showing iphone widgets. What are some good ipad ones? It's kind of hard to search in the appstore.

I would indeed love to see a category for apps that support widgets in notification center (and especially a separate category for all 3rd party keyboards)

I just did a major update on the TS. Go check it out. I also created categories.

Indeed i hope they fix that. I also noticed that it didn't update. I love the TeeVee 3 app on my iPhone and iPad mini2 but this notification refresh feature isn't working right now.
