Anyone else annoyed that you have to wait for the slide to unlock animation to finish before the home button will unlock the phone?
What animation? I just hold the finger and the phone unlocks without any animation happening first.

I had serious frame drops when exiting apps in 9.0 (iPhone 5). Now with 9.0.1 it is muuuuch better (still not perfect though). But actually I don't think that it is something that Apple fixed, rather just the effect of reinstalling the system...

Anyone over here experiencing the same problem?

After updating to iOS 9, my issue is with the cellular data app toggle switches. For example, when a user turns a switch "on"from an "off" position, the setting is not respected by the system. The switch will appear to change to "on", but if you try to use the affected app, it won't permit cellular data to go through. Then, if you go back and check the cellular data app switches in the Settings app, you can see that the switch has reverted back to its previous position, in this case "off"

I've just noticed that Angry Birds 2 became very laggy on my iPad mini 2. It was quite ok before iOS9. Now almost unplayable (frames drops)

On my ipad air siri is taking ages to load, about 10 seconds to register what I have said and half the time it doen't even give a response, very annoying.

Edit - Having the same problem with my ipod touch 6th gen that is on ios 9.0

My calendar is a little bit dodgy now, often jumps to January of the year you're in for no reason

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet - my Safari bookmarks have disappeared twice (on my iphone) since the iOS 9 upgrade. Each time, a device restart brought them back.

Also, anyone else experiencing the issue described in this post? I can share Safari pages to Notes via my iPad, but not my iPhone (both are on iOS 9 and using "upgraded" iCloud Notes). Thx

does anyone notice the wierd orientation lags and bugs on ios 9.0.1
i have updated ipad air 2 on 9.0.1
on lockscreen, rotation is buggy, as in wallpaper and statusbar dont rotate
on homescreen, no rotation at all or very late.

I am running iOS 9.1 beta 2 on my iPad Air 2 and it seems to rotate fine now. So thankfully that appears to be fixed in 9.1 when it is released.

This morning when I was about to turn off the alarm I got my first soft reset. I hope it was some one time thing.

After updating to iOS 9.0.1 this evening I am having problems with many of my 3rd party apps crashing. They will open and immediately close. I restarted AND reset my phone and the problem persists. Is this happening to anyone else?

Your apparent condescension is uncalled for. I would have thought it obvious that I was not having the issues prior to the update, otherwise I wouldn't have posted in this forum asking about it.

All apps are up to date - that was one of the many things I considered when the problem first started.

Some of the apps that are crashing are Instagram, Amazon, and Dropbox. They force close almost immediately after I open them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps, which is a solution that has worked in the past for me, however that did not fix the problem.

Dropbox works fine for me. I don't have other apps that you mentioned.

YES! Went through the issue with Apple for hours to no avail! I actually drove all the way to the Apple Store because I figured it was easier to see and explain, but I forgot today was the iPhone launch and even though I have AppleCare+ they told me they couldn't see me today. Went home and called instead and they told me the only option is to wait for an iOS update (I did a full restore). I have all of my apps with data turned off and when I want to use one on data I flip it on. So I have NO way to use data because I can't flip data on for any of my apps -- and my iPhone is now an iPod touch until (hopefully) Apple fixes it in the next iOS update. So upset, especially after being screwed over by Staples this week. On the phone with Apple now to speak with customer relations. And yes, I have no shame in saying I will be asking for some kind of compensation because I pay to have a functional iPhone WITH data usage.

Well, since there might not be any actual solution to this until Apple fixes it, and if you really need to change something (with it all being fairly useless otherwise) perhaps it might be worth installing iOS 8 again while it's being signed and either staying with it for now or enabling all the cellular data settings and updating to iOS 9 again so that they would be enabled there.

I don't know how to do that but I will look into it. That's a good idea. Thank you.
