iOS 9.0 Beta 1 Bug Fixes and Changes

Upon looking closer, it seems like the wallpapers are re-engineered for iOS 9. The solid color ones seem to have much smaller dots than in iOS8 and the two-tone ones are much lighter than iOS 8. Can somebody with 6+ on iOS 8 confirm? (I only have an iPhone 6 for comparison).

I dont feel like sifting through 24 pages of replies, so ill just ask it and hope no one else has already done so... Am I the only one who isnt getting news on the search page and the only one who doesnt have the battery widget. I have an iPhone 6, incase that effects something, which i highly doubt.

The battery widget is only available if you have a Watch. I'm not having any issues with News. Have you tried doing a restart?

Ah ok... That makes sense now. I have restarted my phone a few times, mostly because it has to be off in school. To no avail, it get no news. I haven't gotten my contacts either since yesterday. Here is all that I have on that screen:

Gesture to go forward in safari is changed. Maybe to not interfere with multitasking in iPad, you have to go left and then fast right to go forward.

Also: New cursor 2 finger move works also in custom keyboard, putting fingers on page and not on keyboard

I wouldn't worry to much about the news on this version. At least what I saw yesterday was static information with no relevance to me or my interests. Probably because the actual News app is missing.

I don't think they're any different. The Plus had those wallpapers with the much smaller dots.
 
For Siri in the UK, we have a couple of new choices, at least I can never remember them being there before.

For both male and female, we can now decide between British, American and Australian accents.

another 2 junk apps that cannot be deleted! Find my friends and find my phone! Almost have to create a second folder for the junk stock apps I never use

You would think with the random decision to make iCloud Drive app optional to appear on the home screen... they would follow suit and copy this optional approach to the rest of the apps that no-one use ever.

Is it possible to mark notifications as read by swiping across them in Notification Centre?
 
Iphone 6 Plus users: For those of you who disabled Search parameters in the beta, are you seeing battery life similar to 8.3 at all?

No, the wallet part of the icon is quite small but it's surrounded by black making it the same size as all other icons

I'm seeing better battery life with everything disabled, but still not to 8.3 standards
