Has anyone getting stand by and usage times same on iOS 9.0 beta 1?
I know it must be performing some tasks behind the scenes but it's almost around 18-20 hours since i installed the beta and it is still happening. Any solution?

Just noticed that the Health app on the iPhone now lists your minimum and maximum heartbeat range for each day when you go to "Show Recorded Data" inside Heart Rate.

Seems like i've found a way to stop that amazing battery drain.
Go to Settings -> General -> Search and uncheck all.

This fixed the battery drain for me. Maybe there are several options under search that could be left enabled but i don't had the time yet to check which exactly causes the issue.

Everyone try this and report back here whether or not battery life improves...

Ingress won't load.
Expected result, restored back to iOS 8. (I have 10 days to get the Gold Sojourner Badge)

In notes app, Apple showed something that now we can draw in notes app using some tools available. It's not there on 4S. I assume small screen size is the culprit.
So far seems that this and Proactive aren't there. I'm okay with that :)

Thanks!

Only if you have an Apple Watch. Your device can already display the battery percentage and meter...why do you need the widget?

ah damn i thought i could use it instead of the constant battery indicator percentage cuz thats bad for my OCD lol oh well once the beta works better i can try it on my iphone 6 which is linked to my watch

Didn't read through all post sorry for duplicate information, but ipad air +bluetooth keyboard pressing enter on the keyboard now send the message ,until now that was a line break

Can you check if we can type in quick reply with a Bluetooth keyboard now? We weren't able to in iOS 8

I think Apple is giving us a new feature. You know, with third part keyboard we can't use dictation. But, what if Apple extend the use of microphone icon in the search field of spotlight on all the field, like safari, messages or also apps like Facebook, whatsapp, by default?
Actually in beta 1 custom keyboard not works in spotlight, but that microphone is a duplicate (you have one already embedded in Apple keyboard...). So, I hope this is not only for spotlight.

Found a couple of things.

1. Under Accessibility there is a new option for Keyboards that toggles the option to show lowercase keys (currently not able to turn it off)

2. Under Keyboard there is a new option to hide character preview shown while typing

3. iOS 9 keyboard seems to have a lighter background gray for the QuickType bar (third picture shows iOS 9 keyboard at the top)

Here's my findings:
1. Reminders now offer different "snooze" times: 15min, 1h, next day
2. Notes now has a "full screen" button on iPad, like the iPhone 6 Plus does in landscape

What the hell is whatsapp?

Live under a rock lol? Huge cross platform messaging program. As of last month they had 800 million active users and Facebook purchased them last year for 22 billion dollars.

Unchecking everything in Settings > General > Search has made a HUGE impact on battery life. I've been sitting at 100% for an hour now
Awesome. But is it perpetual indexing that's the problem, or is the indexing taking too long, do you think?

No idea.. it might be a combination of indexing and background refreshing. I suppose Proactive has to learn your daily routine so it knows when to suggest certain apps, contacts etc.. that's probably having the largest affect on the battery

Hey guys, I've made more findings.
Siri has a weird animation that changes the background after performing a task. (It looks like expected while listening though.)

Also, when HDR is turned off in Camera, it's now crossed out.
