Does Safari remember sites where you frequently request desktop mode and automatically render the page that way when you visit that site. I'd love functionality like that.

Can anyone confirm whether setting read receipts based on individual contact made it into iOS 9, as was rumored? Thanks!

Anyone know if WatchOS 2 will work on 8.3 or 8.4? I want to revert back but don't want to risk not having a useable watch. Unless someone has figured a way to downgrade Watch OS as well?

Could someone check three things for me please?

1) Is the music/video scrubber better?
2) Has the battery percentage jump been fixed?
3) When unlocking the iPhone, the Status Bar will, for a split second, remain the same size and then downscale. Has that been fixed?

Thanks.

Notifications not grouped by app are instead grouped by date...

2) The battery drops so fast that we can't tell yet lol
3) Yes it's still there.

Anybody else notice that when you plug your phone in on silent, it no longer vibrates to let you know it's charging?

Also turning off lower case letters didn't work for me. Anyone else have that happen?

Are you even a developer? This is Beta 1. Beta means unfinished, full of bugs. If you can't understand this very little could you please not waste everyone's time here with your gibberish rants?
Yes, I am a developer and maybe you can show some respect, you don't know me. I have years and years of experience with IOS betas so everything that I say, happened before for me. By the way, this is the internet so mean comments are useless here, feel free to continue talking like this but I am not replying anymore. Have a good day!

Sorry if this has been asked before in this thread, I can't read all the comments, is anyone having heat problems? My 5s is really hot even when I am not using it, and yes I did a clean restore and set it up as new. The phone is so hot sometimes, it becomes uncomfortable to hold in hand.

Anyone know if they've finally reduced the heavy picture noise reduction that was originally introduced in iOS 8?

Had the same on my 6 plus. Turning off all search toggles except applications made the phone little bit cooler and battery slightly better. Ultimately I was forced to downgrade because battery life is too bad. To be excepted for beta 1. Probably will try again on beta 3

found why, its the background app refresh settings, theyre all broken & ignore what u set. turn on background refresh then manually turn off every app, go back to the previous menu then go back to background refresh, a bunch of apps u just turned off will turn themselves back on. same thing when background refresh is turned off globally, when turned on (so u can see each app's setting) a bunch of apps are on again. the toggle to turn off background refresh globally is being ignored even if it appears off, my battery usage reported almost every app having background usage.

also explains why my device is very warm, cause everythings running on it in the background, guess ill revert & wait for beta 2

Not reproducible in my case. Went back to ios 8.3 where all apps are allowed background refresh just like I had in beta 9. Battery life ons 8.3 with background refresh on for all apps is enormous.

seriously? you must not have any friends or family..

I think they probably use iMessage. WhatsApp seems to be more an android thing. Anyway, I parted with may IM services a long time ago. I used to have ICQ, MSN, Skype, Jabber and some other services I can't even remember on my phone. Thank you Apple for iMessage :)

If you have years of experience of iOS betas, you should have not complained like that. Reminded me of some 10 year old kid that threw a tantrum because his parents took away his favorite video game.

Seriously, let's all act mature here.

Comments like "6+ battery life is terrible, I'm gonna downgrade. I hope Apple fixes this" are fine.
"THIS SUCKS WHY DOES APPLE NEVER FIX THINGS ARE YOU KIDDING ME" are definitely not constructive reports.

I seriously hope you are not submitting feedback to Apple like this. Or...carry on, Apple engineers need a good laugh to prepare them for the summer bug-fixing marathon ahead.

Funny you should say that since you've stood out as the most negative and disrespectful individual in this forum.
You'd be wise to take your own advice. Show some respect and don't post mean comments.

Keeping the phone in low power mode does seem to rapidly slow the battery drain, though I already have the features it claims to turn off, off anyway, so I wonder what else it does behind the scenes

On my iPhone 6, I now seem to have room for an extra row of icons on my homescreens. Pretty sure it was 5 rows before; now it's 6!

Also, the passcode is now 6 digits instead of 4.
