Keeping the phone in low power mode does seem to rapidly slow the battery drain, though I already have the features it claims to turn off, off anyway, so I wonder what else it does behind the scenes

According to Apple, limits CPU and GPU usage and reduces networking. Photos will not upload, for example.

Something called "CCCWidget" has just appeared on my homescreen, I can't seem to download or install it, it's just greyed out.

I have no idea what it is. I've searched the app center for it and I can't find it.. and yet, there it is, sitting on my homescreen

Can anyone confirm whether setting read receipts based on individual contact made it into iOS 9, as was rumored? Thanks!
Was that even a rumor, or just someone's wishful thinking in some post somewhere?

Weird...any chance it's a leftover relic from a previous jailbreak tweak that you installed outside the App Store? Probably won't help but you could check your settings, general, profiles to see if you have anything from a publisher there.

found why, its the background app refresh settings, theyre all broken & ignore what u set. turn on background refresh then manually turn off every app, go back to the previous menu then go back to background refresh, a bunch of apps u just turned off will turn themselves back on. same thing when background refresh is turned off globally, when turned on (so u can see each app's setting) a bunch of apps are on again. the toggle to turn off background refresh globally is being ignored even if it appears off, my battery usage reported almost every app having background usage.

also explains why my device is very warm, cause everythings running on it in the background, guess ill revert & wait for beta 2

Can confirm, same happening on mine. Very nice find sir! Only a few of mine turned off and they were the stock apps. This isn't annoying in the slightest... /s

It seems to be this app: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/widgets-calculator-currency/id919143225?ls=1&mt=8

I'm not sure how you would remove it.

Anyone else find that randomly, every single iMessage sent suddenly gets marked as "Did not send" despite having already had replies to them? I have four conversations going and every single iMessage I sent seems to have been marked with it

Request: what does the app switcher look like in landscape mode on both iPhone 6 and 6+?

Dev forums say disabling LTE / mobile data helps / fixes the battery drain. Can't try this because I'm on 8.3 for now

Several places have said that resetting all settings helps a lot.
I've tried everything to no avail. I think the biggest issue is that Background Refresh is on for all apps and cannot be turned off so it's constantly running.
