But what about in Safari? In landscape mode?
I didn't use it much, so I don't know the performance.

I may try to use more.

If you use Touch ID when you have notifications on the lock screen they shoot upwards as it unlocks. That makes me happy every time. I just really like it for some reason. I assume this also happens on iPhone, can anyone confirm that though?

It is even possible they are building the final version? ;)
Doubtful. They need to implement all of these bugs fixes developers are finding. We may be on Beta 1 but internally, they are always ahead. Probably around Beta 3 to 4 already.

Yeah. Even I think implementing final version is too optimistic, after recalling my comment.

Whatever it is, this fall is the deadline. Nothing would be clear before that time. In other word, everyone is possible to change everything before it goes to the final stage.

I don't get it. If they are around Beta 4 (which, I assume, removes some of the bugs existing in Beta 1, 2 and 3), why the hell would they have publish Beta 1 which has lot of bugs that they already have had eliminated?

You know what Apple always like to do when announcing anything new. They will try to move ahead of time, giving you a really astonishing view of something, and you will feel really impressed, because the thing looks so beautiful that you couldn't believe it does exist. Well, in other words, they like to catch us with surprise.

I think it's a waste of space, the iPhone battery. It's always displayed in the Status Bar.
Well, in landscape mode, nothing will be displayed on screen except your webpage content, in Safari.
In portrait mode, you should know, knowing how much battery capacity this phone left all the time, is the most basic feature of every phone, including iPhone, Android phone, and Windows Phone.

No way Apple is on beta 4 internally. They are 1 or 2 betas ahead. Otherwise it would defeat the purpose of squashing bugs through testing. There's no way Apple can do all the testing done with the beta program on their own. And the iOS software they demo in the keynote is specifically built for demo purposes, hence why they follow a script during the live demo.
