Something's up with mine then. I've been on B3 for over 24 hours now and I'm still not getting anything.

Im getting results if I search but otherwise it's blank. View attachment 567579 View attachment 567580

I just found the instructions below in the Apple Support forums. I tried it and it works. I now have Siri Suggestions.

---------
I was able to get the suggestions working again by:
  1. Disabling them in Settings>General>Spotlight Search>Siri Suggestions.
  2. Hard restart of device. (Hold Power and Home buttons until device restarts. NOT DFU RESET)
  3. Re-Enable in Settings>...Siri Suggestions

I wonder if you were to delete the profile from the public beta if it would then allow you to get normal non-public updates since the public beta is same build as the dev beta. Just a thought.

Doesn't it check the UDID when you update? Worth a try though.

There's a lot of little changes that are nice like the selection bar animation pop up and disappearing in text boxes (still fades on non-editable text). It no longer fades but grows. Hard to explain.

Some odd ones like Spotlight Search being to the left of the homescreen AND swipe down (to the left shows all Spotlight/Siri suggestions while swipe down seems to be geared at apps) and Find on Page being accessible from the URL bar AND the share sheet icon Find on Page (I do like that it adds the Find bar on top of the keyboard though). Is Apple starting to allow things to be accessible in more than one spot, ala Windows? Bad decision if that's the case. Makes things more confusing than it's worth to just learn where the option/feature is. Bug if not.

So you would prefer to have to swipe back AND then down when what you need/want isn't appearing on the proactive page?

Maybe next Wednesday many apps will be updated from the developers to support iOS 9 public beta.

No. I would prefer them to pick one or the other. Personally I prefer swipe down but I understand that's hidden. People are more likely to see the magnifier icon on the home screen to the left of the dots and realize they can swipe to the right.

But that doesn't mean apps can't be updated to work in iOS 9...
Right, they just can't say they are. Sometimes devs simply say the update readies the app for the new OS. Generally that's code for it's iOS 9 compatible.

Also, if they're using iOS 9 API's there is a possibility it'll be found and it will get the app rejected till a week before the official release (usually).

Well they can, but devs can't submit apps that were made with the iOS 9 SDK. Therefore, apps won't support split view till September. You can't support splitview using the iOS 8 SDK because it's only present in the iOS 9 SDK.

Devs can fix bugs present in iOS 9, but typically they use workarounds.

Right. I just want Plex to work again. If I had know, I might not have updated to iOS 9, and it seems like the Plex issue has been going on for a while now. The app itself hasn't been updated since January, so I'm not all that hopeful it will get fixed anytime soon.

... sigh ...

It flat out doesn't let you submit apps made with the iOS 9 SDK so there's no "maybe it'll get through if they don't notice."

I am having several issues with iOS9, one of the main things are:
1.Spotlight Searches do not work as intended it works just ad before but it doesn't give me any additional information.
2.Siri suggestions only show me apps and contacts, but nothing else like for example places.
3. I configured my news app feed on the iPad once on my iPhone I wasn't able to load my previous configuration and when I try to suscribe y only see a few channels and themes, on the iPad when I first started the app I had much more options. Is there any way to get the iPhone to remember my iPad configuration.
4.The phone is pretty buggy, much more than on any other beta, news app constantly crashes and the phone sometimes take like 30 minutes to respond.

All this on an iPhone 6

Thanks I would appreciate any help on any of this issues

Revert back to 8.4 if you can't deal with bugginess.

Report the bugs to Apple using the Feedback app. That's why they want public beta testers. Otherwise, it's actually pretty stable for a beta. It's expected to have new apps and features that are buggy.
