Hello, is anyone else noticing that iOS 9.0 GM wasn't the "Final" release this year?

Does anyone see any changes?

I've put the ~40Mb update on both my Air 2 and 5S. The iPad feels the same, but the phone feels much different. Animations and performance on multitasking and opening apps feels significantly better. Hopefully the battery life issue on 5S is fixed too!

Yeah got the same update too, i am running iOS 9GM.
I thinks that's first to have a difference between GM and final release, isnt it?!

I don't think its the first time.. back in the iOS 4 - iOS 5 days.. We did get multiple GM release candidates.. But this is the first time where the GM release wasn't seeded to developers before public release..

So far.. after playing with it for 30 minutes or so.. This release is pretty solid

Personally, thus far, the GM was more stable and faster on my 6 than this new build. I was one of the few that didn't have a problem with the GM, but I'm not happy so far with this build.

Small changes that i noticed fixed from the GM...
When updates are installing, they weren't shown

I'm having massive lag throughout the device that was not present on the GM. Additionally, my phone is running hotter than after installing the GM. I've already had to do 2 hard resets.

My 6+ is still doing some heavy indexing and appears to be rebuilding my photo library. For those complaining about responsiveness and performance issues, I would give it some time.
