It's slightly better than 9.0 GM on my 6 Plus. Sounds like it's much better on the regular 6 though. It's a shame the 6 Plus is so underpowered.

Based on what I've read about the iOS 9 GM I'm happy I made the jump directly into 9.1 from PB3. It's been a flawless experience for me through today. Battery life is impressive to say the least.

Experience is much, much better than iOS 9 beta 5 so far. Heat issues almost none existent, in fact haven't really seen any heat since the OTA update. Battery life I'll observe over the next few days but already seems better having been using 9.1 for a few hours. Makes me wonder whether I'll want to run 9.1 on my 6s from day 1.

The difference in battery life between the iOS 9 PBs and 9.1 is remarkable on my Air 2, based on about 12 hours' experience (so, very early data). PB1 and PB3 ran almost half as long as 8.x. (PB2 was a disaster on my Air 2.) iOS 9.1 PB1 seems to be running maybe 30% longer than 8.x. If that holds up over the next week, that would be fantastic.

I haven't had any performance problems since installing 9.1 PB1, either. Performance seems to be at least as good as 8.x and 9.0 PBs. One noticeable improvement is that the touchscreen seemed somewhat unresponsive with iOS 9.0. That has been fixed in 9.1 PB1.

I don't know how about the battery life yet, but I am really positively surprised by the performance of my old iPhone 4S. I really do not remember when it was as usable as with iOS 9.1.

I find 9.1 to be a drastic improvement over 9.0 GM but still not as good and fast as 8.4.1 on my iPhone 6, especially when it comes to apps like Safari and iMessage. I've restored it back to 8.4.1 and will wait until 9.1 gets more polished.

I jumped from 9.0 Beta 5 to 9.1 Beta 1. Nice so far.
6plus, 6hr 19min usage and 21hr standby with 54% left on battery.
iPad Air 2, 4hr 59min usage and 21hr standby with 72% left on battery.

I posted this last night on another thread but I assume its still true for today.

Same, I'm on an iPhone 5 and the performance has definitely improved over 9.0. Swiping in the app switcher is smooth now, whereas it felt a bit "gritty" before.

9.1 is working brilliantly for me so far. So smooth, and battery life is on par with GM releases.

Anyone else noticed performance boost of the wifi and cellular data connection in 9.1? I'm on 6 plus.
Can't wait for the "2x performance" of 6s as well.

Thats horrible. I don't think it's a common issue. Have you tried restoring?

It probably is a common issue. I've had the same experience with older betas. Had to restore twice to iOS 8 from 9 betas.

Experience better on the 5s?

If so, that's great news. Thanks.

As noted above, weaker coverage and LTE coverage with T-Mobile with 9.1 beta

Performance is still not on par with 8.4, its better then PB3 for sure.
I dont understand why..Apple was talking about performance improvements yet its slower? I dont get it.

There are probably a lot of variables involved.

Is the performance you have seen after you loaded your purchased apps or before?
