i dont really see it as a bug either. this way i have access to "General" without having to scroll and for airplane mode i got control center anyway

This is exactly what I think is going on.

Apple probably has determined most of the time, you dont need access to those options at the top and rather than resorting the familiar settings and to avoid confusion of where things are, they just scroll you to the point of most use.

If Apple would come out with a concrete explanation either way, I'd love to hear it.

The battery life on my wife's 6S is dismal. It dropped 12% in the 45 minutes it took her to get ready for work and is down to 20-30% by 5:00, with light use. Background mail is using ~20% of her power. We've changed every mail box to fetch, manual, to no avail. My 6S, on the other hand, runs like a champ. I'm thinking about moving her 9.0.2 to see if it makes a difference.

It is a bug. It's supposed to behave just like the search field in iMessage or Mail (or the other numerous apps) where you have to swipe down to see it.

It will be fixed.

I hope it's 9.1 bug. Apple Music keeps resetting to clean music only. Each time I have to go to settings > restrictions and enable it again. Can anyone confirm?

At this point though you almost have to wonder if it's intentional (no matter how weird it looks or seems.)

It's been this way since pretty much every iOS 9.0 beta build and continues to be in 9.1 beta 3.

If it was just some simple graphic bug or alignment bug, Apple would have fixed it in the so far 8 beta builds (5 9.0 builds and 3 9.1 builds) 10 builds if you include GM and official release of 9.0. (Since the two were even different build numbers from each other.) I highly doubt they would miss it or just not care to fix it for that long.

It probably will be "fixed" though if enough people send feedback on it. (Or reverted back to starting at the very top of it was something intentional.)

It wasn't in the earlier betas I don't believe

bug, dont know how old it is

my iphone 6 was locked, i pressed the home button & swiped down today view in notification center, at the very moment i tapped the stocks widget to open stocks (which only has CADUSD=X, CADEUR=X, CADGBP=X in it), an imessage came. stocks did not open from tapping it's widget nothing happens when u tap it, also the imessage notify banner on top will not auto go away unless manually swiped up, which i did. stocks still wouldnt open, so i locked the phone again, but it wouldnt wake when home or power is pressed. the device is still running as when i toggle the vibration switch it responds on silent setting & removing/reinserting it into charger made it vibrate as normal, so its not frozen, but i think springboard crashed without restarting.

only option was force reboot with home+power, tried to replicate the problem & i did on the first try.

You're right that maybe DP 1&2 didn't. But I'm pretty sure ever since DP 3/PB 1 it's been there. That would be 7 builds total still there (if you also include GM and final 9.0 release.)

That is a lot of builds to ignore something seemingly easy to fix (if it is in fact a bug.) A lot of people like to hate on Apple, but I doubt they are that "lazy" or unaware.

Worse beta this far.

It's present on the iPad too and it doesn't make sense to be intentional on there because the screen shows the General tab whether it's scrolled down slightly or not.

My battery life on iPhone 6s Plus is perfect. Much, much better than iPhone 6 Plus. Almost 24 hours intensive daily business and personal usage - and still on 36%. Bravo Apple!

Anyone seen this weird bug? No matter how many times I select all, mark as read etc, its always there now hahaha

Enough with this ******** excuse. UI and UX matters most to most people. This is a very eye-soaring issue because it is visible every time. Go back to the older iOS versions (before 7). Remember such a UI glitch that went unfixed for so long? Not even the betas had such issues. The lack of polish in newer versions by Apple is just shameful.

I actually never noticed it until reading about it here and even still I didn't notice it till I specifically looked for it.

Curious that is it worth it to stay on the newer beta vs the newest factory update which is lower? Cause seems like first year beta is continuing after public release

Is anyone having an issue with their alarm not turning the screen on when it goes off? It's really annoying having to manually turn the screen on every morning. It started with beta 2 and i'm still seeing it in Beta 3.
Just noticed this morning that mine is doing this too…

And maybe a stupid question, but, does it matter? Isn't beta 3 the same for both?
Honestly I don't know, I'm new to the whole beta thing myself. Only did it because I was having too many notification problems when ios9 was first released.

Lol... I hear you! I did it to see if things were fixed and to hopefully give feedback on issues. My statement was more for Floris or anyone. I really think B3 is the same for both groups. :)

I never experienced any of the lag reported for previous betas. Sometimes it takes almost a full second for an app to begin to launch on my 6+.
