Music app still doesn’t show your cached music. Only the tracks that you saved offline.

How is it performing on an iPhone 5? Still on 8.4.1 because of the app launching lag that irritates me.

On 6+: app switcher is still not smooth, but all animations seem to be sped up, which means you'll spend less time watching the stuttering

On iPad Air: app switcher still extremely slow (feels around 15-20fps tbh).

There is still the issue of the app icon disappearing when you expand release notes on iOS app updates in the App Store.

I've noticed this since early 9.0 betas.

My iPhone 5S is now lightning fast no lag when opening apps no lag when swiping screens. Only lag is in the spotlight.

Control Center is still laggy on my iPhone 6s

Same here. The app switcher isn't any smoother when entering it.

I don't see this becoming an option. The photos app manages this and connects to iCloud. I get that you might want a photos folder in iCloud Drive but iOS is not going to manage the photos in that way.

The stutter when scrolling in Music and Phone's "Recents" is definitely smoother. Overal UI performance definitely seems better than iOS 9.0.2.

Anyway I can't remember the iOS version when you can see cached music as downloaded, maybe in iOS 7?

It doesn’t matter to me so much whether I can delete the cache. I just want to have every data usage accounted for. On my device there are 800 MB missing now, before I did a restore it was even more than 2 GB that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. That’s one way of pushing people to buy more expensive devices.

Very strange for me...OTA is showing when on cellular but requires wifi as usual however when I connect to wifi it says it can't connect...that is on an iPhone 6 and it did work fine on the same wifi network for my iPad Air 2....

ps. I tried to use a different wifi network but same problem. Tried force reboot and normal reboot. Same issue.

Any idea how I can fix this?

The zoom in/out animation when opening/closing apps is also far smoother toward the end of the animation "cycle".

That's where I predominantly noticed "lag" or stutter on 9.0.2, albeit as I said in another thread it wasn't every single time, but it still happened.

9.1 beta 4 is a dream to use on the 6. Now installing on my Air 2 as I ... type.
