10 minutes no. 3-4 hours yes. My method takes about 3 hours to compare. But I'm really crazy when it comes to this stuff lol. o_O
You don't even need to be crazy to tell that your battery has drained 10% in 5 minutes and that this is abnormal, indexing or not. This is literally what was happening with a previous iOS beta and people still don't accept that it's possible to notice extreme battery drain after just 10 minutes or so.

It might not be what you expect to see of course, but it's not an indicator of it being that way in general, because it happened shortly after an OS update. It's definitely worth doing some troubleshooting and all that, but it would be somewhat too early to make any conclusive statements one way or another about overall battery life.

This update 9.2.1 from 9.2 is so much better then the update 9.1 to 9.2. My 5S feels more snappier and animations are better. The app switcher is much better, control centar is better (but still lags a little). Overall good update. And its still in beta stage, i can't wait for official release

I spent some time cleaning up post number 1. It was way to hard to read and follow before. This format has worked really well in the past so lets stick with it.

32 posts so far and not one use of the dreaded "L" word. Update sounds promising. I honestly wasn't expecting much from a X.X.1 update, so this will be good if true.

The question about it has been asked quite early on in the thread, but just hasn't really been addressed by anyone directly (not that anyone can really tell much as far as how it will be for someone else since everyone has their own take on it all).

I would love to know if it's actually smoother than 9.2. Sure 9.2 fixed some stutters, but it still doesn't feel completely smooth even on my Air 2.

Seriously? This is actually a good news! Does scrolling in some apps (Pinterest, Twitter, Tapatalk) still stutters?

Thank you.

Most people by have now accepted that lag and stutter are part of the "New Apple" experience. One can only complain "this much" and move on to better things in life.

Everyone has kinda given up on it as a thing which has the lowest fixing priority at Apple. Different management, different priorities.

It also means that their faith on Apple in "post Steve Jobs era" has greatly diminished.

I don't think this will work. You won't see the update until the Public Beta is released.

You have to download the ISPW file from the Developer Center and click on Update in iTunes while holding ALT (OS X) or SHIFT (Windows) and then choose that file.

But when you have Public Beta 1 installed and it has the same build number as Developer Beta 1, then if you delete the profile it seems you could get Developer Beta 2 when it is released.

I have the ispw file and I can update but I am afraid that when I delete the profile and manually update to 9.2.1 it will not work and my iphone will not activate. What do you think?

Spotlight-l** is still here (better since 9.2, but still), but overall, animations seams smoother on iPhone 6 with that beta. Frame drops are now difficult to find after more or less 12 hours of use. Pretty happy about that update. Now I'm waiting for tons of imprecisions that I imagine have very low priority, but needs to be fixed if Apple wants to prove to customers that it really cares about the details (and I'm not speaking of UI design decisions).
I'm thinking about the dark keyboard flash when pressing shift key, about the Photos app scroll shifting when you press the select button, about the Settings app scroll shifting when you click on a row quickly after scrolling, about the terrible icon alignment in Apple Music (cf. screenshot) and that terrible "no results" state (cf. screenshot). I am unfortunately missing other small things that are not bugs, but where fixes need to be done. And I'm reporting them constantly via feedback form and bug reporter for some of them.

For the iPhone 5s users who installed iOS 9.2.1 beta 1, is there again the same bug of ios 9.2 where the lockscreen takes a little time late to show the background (and also the brightness takes longer to get to the top) or it's fixed?

Has it fixed the 9.2 bug where disabling automatic music downloads for iTunes/Match/iCloud Music doesn't work?

...and some people actually have zero lag and are very happy with the experience.
