Swipe closing a tab in safari animation fixed. Up until 9.2 the tab just disappeared. Now you can see it go off screen again.

It's good to see small animation fixes are popping up left and right. At least we know they're onto it.

I believe 9.2 is by far the best operating system that has come out it's very smooth in the animations look great there are some slight starters on my iPhone 6s here and there but nothing to complain about I'm glad to see that Apple is focusing on the minor details again

Splitting keyboard looks and works much better than before as well on iPad. Still some bugs when sliding it up but still an improvement.

Even my old iPhone 5 is now perfect 60FPS. Stutter when is completely gone from app switcher, even with transparency enabled. See this 60FPS video (it does play 60fps on n YouTube app):

Today is the second time I've noticed an issue with making calls on my phone. Both times this happend I was on a webpage and tapped a phone number and selected call. Immediately after hitting the call button I go to end the call. The issue is that the call stays stuck in "call ending" mode. The green status bar keeps ticking as if the call was still going. When I attempt to close the phone in multitasking mode it won't let me close phone app. I turn phone off and back on and it's still in "call ending" mode. The only way I'm able to get it to go off and finally end the call is by holding the power button till phone shuts off.

I noticed I had this issue when I was running iOS 9.1 beta yet I'm still having t every now and then running final build of 9.1. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Does this 9.2 public beta fix the POP3 bug introduced in IOS9? (whereby POP3 accounts are treated the same as IMAP... message downloaded to phone, but when deleted from POP3 server the message appears in the Mail app with a "This message has not been downloaded from the server" message.)

Yes, I am running an iPhone 4s and I also see this occasionally, I hope Apple fixes this soon.

issued the same on my 5s with 9.1 final build yesterday, maybe it's solved with 9.2 beta 1, did you try it on that one?

I haven't had a chance to update to 9.2 beta 1 yet so I can't say if it's fixed or not. I hope that it is fixed in 9.2 though. Glad to know I'm not the only one out there experiencing this occasional glitch.

Yeah, looks like 9.2 is gonna be great on the iPhone 5, though this could be too early to jump into a conclusion. Even iAppleBytes comparison videos for 9.2 seemed to be promising as well...

The last #JobsEra iPhone has been chugging along fine since the year of 2012. Perhaps this goes to show that Apple and some of their brightest software engineers can really choose to optimise iOS if they genuinely wanted to. Hopefully 9.2 is going to be like an optimising and performance improvement update like 8.3.

I'm already tired of all the lag and overall sub-par standard of iOS 9 compared to iOS 8, for a major update where 'performance improvements' was supposed to be one of the highlighted features.

But doesn't everyone have the same issues and it's just some people that are not noticing them or don't care about them?

Ofcourse not. Different hardware.
Not quite the things some people were claiming and different times simply pointing to iOS 9 having the same issues for everyone (with no mention of hardware or anything else).

I had really hoped that Apple would have the stupid alarm not waking the screen issue sorted for the 9.2 beta but alas..

IIRC, With 9.1 my screen wouldn't wake at all when an alarm went off. Now with 9.2pb1 it seems to wake my screen most of the time but only for a couple of seconds. Not long enough to actually wake up, look at the screen, and decide if I want to snooze or turn the alarm off.

This is pretty annoying and has been an issue since the first 9.1 beta I believe. I can't even imagine how irritating it must be for the people who actually use Touch ID, as you wouldn't even be able to snooze at all.

I've reported it but come on Apple - this one has got to be affecting millions of people every single day. Including most of the programmers responsible for fixing it..

Hopefully by beta 2..but I've been saying that for a whole lot of updates by now.

Not specifying the hardware doesn't mean that hardware is irrelevant. You know that. You're nitpicking now.

In many of those types of statements that want the case. Seems like you are trying hard to excuse various hyperbolic statements from others trying to find possible things to add to them. Funny that people accuse others of doing that kind of thing in defending Apple when they often simply question something or point out something.

Even though I haven't experienced your issue so I can't react on that, may I ask where you got that wallpaper from?
