Disabling and then re enabling Bluetooth usually solves the issue but not this time sadly. Will keep trying. Need my notifications.
Sounds like they did some work on the Bluetooth drivers, hence the new bugs.

I wonder what they're fixing/changing/adding? Nothing in the release notes about Bluetooth changes on iOS.

Wait so this beta is only available for developers right? On my beta program I'm not seeing the update. I'm also assuming a nondeveloper can't make a dev account just for this update?

A random thought... Did Apple perhaps never activate metal, and has now finally turned it on in 9.3? Maybe that would explain the lack of stutter and better animations? :)
That doesn't explain the iPhone 5 being smoother than iPhone 6. Seems like they just optimized it.

You can, but it costs $99.

Holding power+Home until it turned off and then turning it back on fixed it for my Air 2.
Tried that several times unsuccessfully... Now restoring to 9.2, downloading the ipsw and then giving it another go via iTunes instead of OTA. Thanks for the reply!

Just developers so far. You can join the developer program that has access to developer previews for something like $99/year (if not more now).

It’s possible for any device to install iOS 9 beta without the need for a developer account.

How is this on iPhone 5s? Too lazy to read through all the comments sorry. Also is the screenshot lag fixed? (In iOS 8 it was the instant both buttons were pressed, now it takes a second to screenshot)

Encountered a bug a couple times now since installing 9.3 beta 1.

Twice now swiping over to the Proactive Search screen it's blank and doesn't allow swiping back. Only pressing the Home button can exit back out and then going back into the Proactive Swarch screen right after it works again but the news section is blank for a while.

iPad Air 2, after unlocking with Smart Cover, volume indicator still missing when adjusting volume... Pulling up CC, or unlocking with home button brings it back.
Been around since 9.0, dare I say?

I didn't follow the 9.1 or 9.2 beta releases. Has Apple generally released the public beta before DP2?

Wow! iBook iCloud syncing is pretty huge... Now if they would allow audiobook syncing as well

This! And move audiobooks to iBooks on the Mac. It should be consistent.

And, while they're at it, give the Messages app a similar treatment. I don't want to delete my message histories, but I also don't want to store my entire history locally. Having the option for those of us who would want it would be nice!

I had to do a restore back to 9.2 then I restored bcak again to 9.3 to fix a battery issue. Now it won't let me log into iCloud . the account is fine and I have signed out and changed my PW but still no go. I'm logged in but if I go to add Applepay or check my account on the phone, I get into an endless login/twostep loop. Maybe I should disable twostep for now.
Anyone else having icloud account issues?

Yes. But your data could already been stolen or the phone is locked after next reboot. ;)

Or maybe just the Apple-ID of the original owner is connected to it. And Apple can identify that you are doing things they don't want.

Also see the Mod Note. :p
No worries, I wasn't asking where to get it, just a general question about your post ;)

It's never the same timeline. Sometimes DP 1 and PB 1 are together (same week) sometimes it's 1-2 builds later for PB. Typically it seems the bigger more feature rich the update is when DP gets 1-2 builds before they release the first PB.

With 9.2.1 still not released and in PB I would not expect to see a PB 1 for 9.3 until a minimum 9.3 DP 2 build release.

Or, we could just offset our update cycles by 6 months so when you do update, it's already at x.3 or something. And not update at day one and complain about buggy software :) I'm guilty of that too but lately I'm making an effort not to update to early versions of OSes on day one. And it's better, really.

Yeah but then you're always going to have that temptation to update when the new version comes around and you only have the newest and most secure OS for 6 months rather than a year. It should be launched when it's ready, not because 12 months have passed since the last one.

I'm loving Night Shift! If you leave it on the default setting you'll actually forget that its on. I can't wait to see if I fall asleep any faster over the next few weeks. I need more sleep, and this might be just want I need.
It does help. I had flux back when I was jailbreaking and still have it on my Mac.

That said, anyone else noticing blue light reduction spontaneously turning itself off? I'd keep it on all day, myself.

Had that since iOS 9. Swiping right or pressing home button seems to fix it
