For those who had unlocking lag, has this update fixed it?
Unfortunately, no, the unlocking lag is still present.

I can interact with my icons during the unlock animation too on 9.2 so that's nothing new.I can now tap on apps before the unlock animation is done. It still seems to finish the unlock animation before opening the app but the transition seems fairly seamless. It also gives you some immediate icon 'jiggle' upon initial tap (again, while unlock animation is still happening) to let you know it registered your input. It's loads better than before when you had to wait for the opening animation to completely finish before it would even register a tap.
It seems I cannot however, initiate or execute a swipe to another home screen at all during the opening animation. The animation still has to complete before you can begin swiping to another page. But as far as I'm concerned, the ability to interact with the icons on your main home screen is a huge improvement.
Also, FWIW, I'm on a 6S and had regular problems getting the CC to even pull up, whether from the lockscreen or in an app, from home screen, etc. At least 1/4 of the time I had to swipe up at least twice to get CC to pull up. This was with all 9.2 versions (I think it started with 9.2 - it may have started on an earlier version though, can't quite recall). I can say that so far, after several hours of near OCD testing, CC hasn't failed to pull up a single time. All animations seems a lot tighter, consistent, fluid.
So far, 9.3 is shaping up to be what iOS9 "should" have been all along. Or at least what I think most of us were looking for.
The addition of a baked in blue light tamer (a la f.lux) is an absolute God send and just icing on the cake.
Also really digging the additional 3D touch implementations. Especially on the settings icon.
Considering this is a beta 1 - I'm truly impressed.
It most definitely is a screen temperature changer ranging from the blue spectrum to the yellow. Not sure what half of your comment is even trying to say with the awful grammar thoughim so dissapointed when i saw this news it was like heaven on earth, i have always had yellow tint temp for my ipad air 2 and changed it 3 times and not had a pure white one like in the apple stores so thought amazing can now change temp on screen but i can confim this doesnt happen this only makes it more yellow and even all the way to blue its still yelloer than having it off, this is NOT a screen temp change which is what i want, now im upset i dont want a more yellow screen every apple store device is pure white but i always have yellow tint iphones and ipads not happy

If that's the case one would just enable it, adjust and leave it on. Right?I think what he means is that the temperature changer only applies to the blue light reduction feature when it's enabled vs being able to simply calibrate the default screen temperature to a cooler temperature than what's calibrated as default. This would help alleviate those users with a piss yellow screen calibration.
Had to enable Setting Time Zone in Location Services.I don't have the option to disable/enable night shift at sunrise/sunset on my iPad Air, only Off and Custom. How to enable the third option?
Iv not had that on my 6 it's temp stayed consistent throughout the update and after. Now begins the testing see if it holds up today.Lots of 100% CPU since this update finished. Probably reindexing or reoptimizing something. In any case, expect a warm phone for a bit after the update! (It's been about 10 minutes and it's still pegged for me. iPhone 6)
I'm not a developer and I payed for years to have a developer account. This is first year I have not paid for it.Haha! You are comparing pirating music to installing beta software for a free update?
The only reason that Apple probably didn't want people installing beta software is because they didn't want to deal with the influx of customer service calls related to bugs from beta software... But I think that at this point, they have probably just figured out that they can ask the person what version they're running, and not offer support for beta software.
But still I don't know why people in this forum waste so much of their time getting upset over people installing beta software who are not developers... People on this form who install beta software... Do not really affect anyone else in anyway... So I say save your anger for something more worthy... That's all![]()
Most likely tomorrow public bets will come out
I noticed songs have a new popularity icon. It's minimalistic with 1 to 3 bars. Here's an example on Bowie's Hits albumView attachment 610030
Thank you so much for this. Was wondering why I couldn't find it either. Thought it was some kind of region restricted feature.Had to enable Setting Time Zone in Location Services.
From what I've read it seems like Night Shift is only available on 64-bit devices? So, the iPhone 5s and newer, iPad Air and newer, iPad mini 2 and later and the iPod touch 6. Strange, to be honest.Ipad Mini 1 stuck ot apple logo,on iPhone 5 is OK,but there is no NightShift.....![]()

The TV icon has been there (I think) since they revamped Music. I've definitely seen it before todayThere is also a tv icon of there is a video for that song. (Not sure if the tv icon for a video is new to 9.3)
But, this can not be! What about all the forum threads regarding how Apple was deliberately and maliciously crippling the iPhone 6 with iOS 9 to drive sales of the iPhone 6s. Planned obsolescence!
