Can anyone test these bugs to see if they exist on other devices -

Opening the Messages app causes the battery icon in the top right corner to change colour slightly, before changing back.

In the App Switcher if you tap a blurred out app that is to your far left it will come into view, become blurred briefly, then come back into focus. You can easily do this by scrolling as far right as you can in the app switcher, which causes the immediate app to the left become blurred
iPhone 6.I can confirm both of the above happening on my device

Cool, cheers for testing that for me.

Another cosmetic bug that kind of annoys me is if you open three or more apps, then open the app switcher from within an app and start closing all the apps - once the home screen comes into view it'll slide awkwardly to the left and bounce back, rather than just slide into the centre (the usual behaviour if you are closing apps).

Edit: Mine is a 5S btw.

Same here with Air 2.

Anybody using iPhone 6s has status bar lag during Touch ID unlock? This problem was since 9.0, but why it's really hard for Apple to fix this small bug? Really annoying. I tried these things and the bug still exist:

• Power off & on
• Hold Power and Home until Apple logo
• Restore & Set Up as New iPhone
• Restore & Restore from iTunes/iCloud Backup
• Reset Home Screen Layout
• Set any of iOS Wallpaper
• Moving Clock app to folder, second page, etc.

Yes I have the same bug when unlocking with Touch ID. I'm on 9.2.1 and have seen this since 9.0.

Sometimes only the clock lag, sometimes the whole statusbar...

Guys I am very concerned about performance.Does the B2 lag more than B1?If so I refuse to upgrade because my CC is very smooth on B1
Beta 2 has very noticeable improvements.

iOS 9 is finally at iOS 8.4.1 performance with this beta!

Seriously.

No lag in Control Center, Notification Center, or the App Switcher. Multi-layer blurs are now extremely smooth as well (check this by tapping AirDrop in Control Center and observe if frames are dropped as AirDrop settings appear). Tested this on iPhone 5s, all lag has been eradicated.

Absolutely pleased with this beta! :D
I have a 5s, from my experience with beta 2, a lot of bugs are still there, the only 2 bugs that are so annoying are Frame drops in the app switcher (happens sometimes) and scrolling in some stock apps (weather/settings/notes) and 3rd party apps (Twitter/Facebook). I won't say that this beta is not good, it fixed a lot of bugs but I think if apple will focus more on the next betas, iOS 9.3 would be an amazingly good release.

On beta 1 no, on beta 2 even scrolling on Facebook lags (and believe it was butter like in beta 1)
Scrolling is just so annoying with iOS 9.

Next turn is that if terrible lag of CC in Siri. Now don't say Apple was aware of it as they weren't until we told them
I have a question. Whats the point of using CC while using Siri? I cant wrap my head around the logistics of why anyone would even attempt to do that or what purpose that would serve.

It's the lack in optimization are largely done but the introduction of the Night Shift shortcut... but i'm very sad with it... The 6 + was a truly new phone on the first beta... Lucky that I could back to it in time...

Anyone knows which is the expiration date of each beta?
I think after 1 month of upgrading.

Many times after activating Siri, I have tried to bring up control center to enable Wifi.

So compared to iOS 9.2 how are animations and generally the performance on iPhone 5S?Is it worth it?
Animations are great on the iPhone 5s, scrolling is the biggest issue, Small Frame drops sometimes happen in the app switcher, other wise every other issue is minor. Keep in mind that there will be a lot of betas to come the next month until ios 9.3 is released in March.
[doublepost=1454090835][/doublepost]
I know that is too early but what about battery life?Does the beta 2 has the battery draining of beta 1?
Battery drain is still there, 4 to 5 hours maximum battery life on wifi

9.3b2 is much better so far with control center on my iPhone 6. Perfect everywhere now, even tapping airdrop and everything is perfect every time on my iPhone 6. I haven't tried the mini 2 yet though, I've heard the 6 plus got worse, and some other devices as well...

If you are on an iPhone 5S, regular 6, or 6S, update. If you aren't, don't. I heard the 6 plus is doing poorly now and I think I heard iPad Air is bad now too. 6S plus does the same scaling crap the 6 plus does so I'd be wary with the 6S plus.

Same on my 6!! I'm scared to update my mini 2 though... It was doing so much better with b1 and I've heard people say their 6 plus or iPad Air got worse with b2...

This makes me terrified to update my mini 2. I've found that my iPhone 6 is PERFECT like iOS 8 for control center, even over the app switcher and open folders, keyboard, etc.. Weird that it broke the 6 plus

Makes me wonder too... It most likely wasn't intentional lol. Let's hope at least.

The "for now" thing is basically the manual on/off toggle in settings for night shift. There's a "Turn on for now" and once it's on it says "Turn off for now"
[doublepost=1453939873][/doublepost]Going to update my mini 2 now, as well as an iPod 5 and iPhone 5, tell you all how they go... Scared about the mini 2 tbh based on some people saying theirs got worse.
Don't update the mini 2, iOS 9 is not as good as iOS 8 on A7 devices. (If you already updated, turn on Reduce Transparency, this setting helped make my iPad 4 feel nearly like an iPad Air 2.)

Am I the only one that LIKES the Night Shift icon in Control Center?

It's clever. I like it.
I don't like that the icons are too small, I would like the icons to have square backgrounds

After an hour use of the new PB2 on my 5s, battery is not as good as PB1, multitasking is stuttering, but cc and nc is smooth as butter dont know why.
I agree with you, but app switcher doesn't always stutter & when it stutters, it's not always very noticeable.

Finally took the risk and installed 9.3b2 on my 5S.

It's so much different from my first attempt at iOS9 initial release.

This is coming from a huge skeptic and someone very sensitive to FPS. I have also updated from iOS8.4.1, so it's a very good comparison for me, and to be honest it seems as fast (some apps actually feel faster to open, like the camera seems to open and be active instantly).

CC has no lag, except on the screen where the clock is located it seems a tiny bit jittery (then again, iOS8.4.1 had some CC jitter), and nor does the NC.

Very happy - only bug I found is if I have notifications on the lock screen, unlocking causes this weird slide up animation and the clock doesn't appear immediately - I don't really see the point in this, but it sort of makes sense since the notifications slide out of view...

Also, having the iTunes Store hidden via Restrictions hides the App Store settings from the main settings menu completely (this didn't happen before, and it was nice to be able to hide the iTunes Store...).

Very happy so far - I am sure 9.3 final will be even better, and I'm glad given I really want the F.Lux feature.

I can also confirm - hiding the Clock app into a folder solves CC and NC lag on the page the Clock app is located, unlock stutter, as well as swiping lag between home screens, and app switcher lag (to some extent). So yeah.... screw the animated Clock app!
I have the iPhone 5s on iOS 9.3 beta 2 and I think there is no difference in terms of Control Center animations in the page where the clock is located and the other pages.

Hmm Seems may make more since to turn on wifi before activating Siri. Not while Siri is running but to each his own I suppose.

The icons looks to be the same size as the ones up top. Which to me makes more since and is more uniform. Plus allows for more icons in the same space. Not sure they can stretch the physical size of the screen via software update :) Remember a fingertip is being used to activate so seems this should work well.

iPad mini 2 has been on iOS 9 since it released lol. I was talking about updating from beta 1 to beta 2. Yes, beta 2 is much worse than beta 1 was on my mini 2. However beta 2 is much better than beta 1 on my iPhone 6.

Beta 1 actually was so good on my mini 2 that I was about to tell my friend to go ahead and update his iPad Air from 8.4.1, it was *really* good. Not the case anymore with beta 2.

I go in little spurts where I use reduce transparency to reduce lag and stutter but it is so god awful looking that I have to turn it back off eventually. Happens every time.

Beta is not bad on the 6s. A few weird stuttering issues but nothing major. One thing that i did lose was contact pictures on a bunch of my contacts but not sure why.

Since 9.3b1 I've noticed that the heart rate graph in the health app dashboard is scaled from 0 to 300. This makes the vertical heart rate bars very short. Before I submit feedback to Apple, is anybody else seeing this?

I found a bug in Apple Music. Whenever you play a radio station that you made it plays at a lower volume than a song played from an album that you searched for.

Interesting. On my phone, I can count all three frames of animation. But I'm not one of those people that assumes everyone has to see exactly what I'm seeing. :D

Also when in landscape mode, the icons on the right in the Control Center are chopped off. Again, 6s Plus.
I just tried 3D Touch in landscape mode again... now it's a buttery smooth 60 FPS. Weird. Not complaining, of course...

I've seen that a number of times on beta 2. Only happens when in night shift mode but will also show if it's turned off. I'm not sure what triggers it though.
Yeah this is a new bug it seems. Beta 2 is horrible anyways on my iPhone 6...

Did this release remove the ability to change a song's rating? I can't find the function anymore, previously if one tapped on a song's title it'd toggle the rating control, now it just reloads the viewer.

This actually seems like a glitch, if one taps a song's title multiple times, it'll keep reloading the view and if you then try to go back, it'll repeat each step.

Can anyone confirm this?

Ratings a song was changed to tapping the album art on the top half of the player screen. Taping on the song/track name is now what takes you to the album that song is from.

This is new since 9.3 beta 1.
