iPhone 6S Plus. No stuttering or lag whatsoever. You can watch it in 60FPS.

My 6S Plus is definitely not that smooth on landscape mode, not even with Reduce Transparency set to On.

I'm currently using Reduce Transparency ON and Zoomed view and it's blazing fast, but as soon as I go back to REduce Transparency OFF and Standard view, the 3D touch peek on icons goes at like 5 fps. horrible.

This thread is about Beta 2 changes. There are reasons why there are separate releases for developers and public testers. You should install a release that you're supposed to have.
If you want something that is not for public, at least don't ask here how to get developer releases. You add useless posts to this thread which makes it harder for people to find what they're looking for.

Ugh, that indeed looks like a lemon! They should use the lamp icon instead. And what's with the size/border of the icons? Reminds me of the Soft Remix jailbreak theme. http://www.syncios.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Soft-Remix-theme.png

Well said. Plus the lag debate. Some say none, and posted vids with none, some say lot.

It's subjective, move on to actual bugs/fixes with Beta 2. Analyzing the fps in each beta is a waste of thread space.

Couldn't agree more.

"Oh opening up Control Center is only 59 FPS, it's not good enough."

Those are the posts that do my head in.

I think this is new, but if using a bluetooth keyboard in spotlight, you can now use the keys to navigate to an option and open a file/app/etc. Correct me if im wrong but i remember when fiddling with the iPad pro that wasn't the case.

I am on this thread since 2012 and i ve never seen anyone say that.
On this thread? Seems like this one was just created yesterday.

As for the whole FPS thing, many of the lag (and non-lag) iOS 9 threads have someone making claims of that sort in one way or another.

Anyone here on beta 2 using their 6s plus on sprint. I heard some experiencing problems with cellular connection on beta 1 with sprint. Wondering if those problems are still present with beta 2.

I still don t have OTA update, is it maybe that Apple changed the build numbers between dev and public beta? This build finishes with "d" at the end and I have the "f" beta 1

The letter wasn't the only change to the build number. So it didn't drop from "f" down to "d" the three digits before the final letter also changed from 181f to 191d

I'm on a 6S and 9.3 public beta 1 and haven't noticed any issues with my Sprint cellular connection.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't read your post carefully enough the first time. Just noticed you specifically asked about beta 2. My bad.

I have beta 1 on AT&T and the service this weekend at the Broncos game was terrible. I usually never have issues at the stadium and other AT&T folks around me didn't. I wonder if the beta carrier bundles move you to lower priority on the networks, Sprint included?

After being happy that my iPhone 6 feels fast and silky smooth on Beta 2, I updated my iPad Air and it had the opposite effect. Animations stutter a little and there are delays when launching apps and hitting the home button.

So I'm guessing they're still working on performance issues. Hopefully they leave us in a better place than we started. :)

I agree, I wish it came out today, I'm on beta 1 and want to upgrade my 6s asap as I need to get rid of the bugs from beta 1,

Is the battery improved in beta 2 compared to beta 1?
No one can really make a meaningful call on battery performance in basically a day. Battery changes are also not typically things to expect unless there was some real issue with something earlier and there's an expectation of a fix for it.

Here's a picture of my first full day on beta 2. Make of it what you will. EVERYONE uses their phone differently.

Device: iPhone 6s
