It happened to me today too. My 6s Plus is losing battery like water through a leaky bucket today. I went from 100% at 6am down to 38% by 11am. I've never seen battery drain like that ever and I've been on every Beta in the last year.

The weird thing is that it's all App Store background activity. I've been in my office at work all day with wifi switched off and I haven't even opened the App Store. Not sure what's going on with the battery.

I am having the same issue. I ran Low Power Mode the last few days, and the issue was almost entirely resolved. I figure its an app running rampant in the background app refresh, so I am trying to narrow that down today.

The good news is that my problem inexplicably seemed to resolve itself by evening. My App Store background activity seems to have calmed down and it is receding as a % of my usage. But today I'm perching my phone in it's Apple Dock so I don't know how it's behaving today.

Anyone else noticed that in the reminders app when used in split screen mode on iPad Air 2 that the list is not in order? Even if you reorder when in split view it will eventually be out or order again. I sent a bug report when 9.0 released. I can't be the only one.

You're not. This bug is also on the Plus line of iPhones and has been around since iOS 8. Seems to have to do with switching from the compact view class (iPhone portrait orientation and narrow iPad split screen view) to regular view class (iPhone landscape and iPad wide split view and full screen). This seems to be one of those small bugs that Apple has not been in any hurry to fix since the iOS 7 era began. Given some of the other bugs they have allowed to fester, I wouldn't hold my breath that this will be fixed.

Beta 3 is good; but if you back up to icloud and attempt restore (in my case a new phone), you will get a verification failed error when signing into icloud (as reported by couple people here). I have not found a way to solve this....

First major issue for me, apart from the disappearing clock:
6s, with 60% battery, phone just went dead on me. First attempt at turning it back on showed the icon for empty battery plug it to a charger, waited for a few seconds, tried again and it did turn on, but after briefly showing my wallpaper it turned itself off again.
Repeated the same thing a few times (with a couple of hard reboots in between), always with the empty battery picture on, then turning on but off again.
Left the phone for a few minutes, and then it did turn on properly, with 57% battery left!
Very strange, wondering if it will happen again...

I had this problem, but at 16%.

I thought iCloud Backup was disabled on betas on purpose. Has this changed recently?

Went back to 9.2.1. It's not too shabby. It's a tiny bit more stuttery than 9.3, but it works better

what device are you using?

this has happened to me three times already on my 6S Plus, every time I freak the hell out thinking the phone is bricked. It has happened while having 65%, 58%, 42%. :(

It's so weird how these bugs vary from phone to phone. I'm not experiencing a single problem. And honestly I almost never do. Otherwise I wouldn't be a part of the beta program. It just works smooth for me.

Yes I know I just totally cursed myself. See you back here in a few hours to complain about the issues I'm having.

I was the same way. Until this one! I should have backed the phone up before installing the latest beta. Epic fail.

I always turn off iCloud backup on betas because this way I can restore to the previous version if I run into a really bad bug. The most I can lose is application data since I started running the beta.

I also back up the non-beta to my computer as well, to have two separate backups.

Might decide to set up as a new phone for iOS 9.3 final though; got a lot of cruft that's built up over the years.

You can always make an iTunes backup and do some .plist magic to restore the backup to an older version of iOS.

There has certainly been that option at times, but I've heard of mixed results with that approach.

I tried this once, and ended up with a very screwed up phone. I'd advise against it. There's a reason they do that version check.
Doesnt seem to work anymore unless I missed something. Changing the build and version tags is all I did and it failed.

It seems to typically happen during quick replies to a whatsapp message and only if I miss the "send" button, perhaps as punishment for sloppy technique.

Wish they'd change how sensitive and twitchy the App Switcher feels.

Why can't it be smooth like the Safari tab switcher? Try open 10+ tabs in Safari, turn on rotation lock, the open the Tab switcher and turn your phone to the side - That's how the App Switcher should be in my opinion. Natural scrolling, smooth, and not twitchy at all.

I actually had to do this recently. something happened during the 9.2 betas that caused my phone to take up to 5 seconds to launch apps, I tried restoring from backup, but the problem was still there. AppleCare told me I would probably have to set up as a new phone.

Remember, you lose all of your health data when setting up as a new phone. I learned this the hard way.
