  • Multitasking's home screen card is smooth
  • Safari's keyboard lag and stutters a bit
  • Opening up spotlight is smooth, but closing it isn't as good. Same fps drops with multitasking's home screen card.

  • The time in the status bar is missing for a noticeable amount of time after unlocking with Touch ID. Not sure if also present without Touch ID with normal swipe to unlock.
  • When unlocking the iPhone (Plus) in landscape the whole status bar is missing not as long as the missing time, but noticeably too. (tested on iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Air 2).

Apple is planning on removing the time from the status bar to promote Apple Watch sales lol

Open Settings.Open Mobile/Cellular Data and scroll down the list of apps.Does it stutter?
No it does not for me. The only thing I notice is the icons not being able to keep up with how fast I scrolled. They show the placeholder icon for the apps until they catch up. Probably half a second behind.

When you hit home in task switcher, it brings you back to the last opened app and not to the homescreen like in previous beta.

More fluid overall. Touch ID opens phone immediately. Spotlight and task switcher aren't dropping frames. Swiping left to Proactive screen loads the news articles the first time (before they wouldn't load until you swiped back and forth a second time). Control Center and Notification Center both pull up and down fluidly. I haven't seen a jarring animation yet. When orientation is unlocked, the screen rotates very nicely. Anything else you're interested in specifically?
I can second this. It's a bit better than beta 1.1 and much better than beta 2.

Ah good bug find. After unlocking with Touch ID in landscape mode, the status bar clock disappears and stays gone even when rotating back to portrait mode. The time is also still gone now as I locked and unlocked again. Oh no.

When having a folder in the "dock" and turning the device from vertical to landscape mode a black graphical issue appears in the folder while rotating. Issue was there also in iOS 9.3 Beta 1 & 2 (iPhone 6s Plus).

Someone please add this to bugs/report it - thanks!

Seeing this also. It only seems to happen if you unlock to the Home Screen. If you lock the phone while an app is open (tested with locking while in Safari) then unlock the time is there as usual.

You can also make the time come back quicker by launching an app. It's definitely a Home Screen bug.

Also when on beta 2 and you unlocked via Touch ID, on occasions, the keyboard would show for a split second before the device was unlocked, has this been fixed?

Swiping between open apps via 4-finger-gesture causes the screen to go blank for a second on iPad Air 2. Wasn't there in beta 1 and 2.

Feedback has been send.

I am not seeing the missing status bar... but I do see the missing "Time" ... both portrait and landscape, and when the phone is unloced with both TouchID and swipe/passcode. (iPhone 6S Plus)

Does anybody know where I can (as a Public Beta tester) find the list of known issues please?

The time missing issue I believe isn't tied to Touch ID or swipe/passcode as you discovered. It's tied to the Home Screen. If you lock while in the Home Screen and unlock the time is missing for a few+ seconds. If you for example are in Safari (or any app) and lock the phone while in the app, when you unlock the time is there as it should be. If you unlock to Home Screen you can actually make the missing time appear by launching an app.

It's something wrong with the Home Screen.

You're right, it's not tied to Touch ID. Just tried it with normal swipe to unlock with the same result and I can also confirm the other symptoms.

The missing time and that the whole status bar is missing when unlocking with touch-ID have been there since iOS 9.0 on my 6S.

Installing to see if the bluetooth connection with my Garmin activity tracker has been fixed. Not getting my hopes up.
