probably more legit than anywhere here saying it's not going to be released today or that it was supposed have been released an hour ago. every news channel / tweet I've read for the last 2 hours has indicated a release time after 11 AM PST

Weeks run Sunday thru Saturday. That's why it's called the "weekend"-- because it's made up of the two days at each end of the week.
