No change of mind here. Only bugs that I really notice are misalignments. For example, in mail, the top bar sometimes blocks part of the top email. And the search bar is at the very top of the screen instead of a bit lower sometimes. So small things, but the new features absolutely make up for it. So yes, definitely go for it.

EDIT: Battery doesn't last me the day, but I'm pretty sure that's only because I'm using it so much.
Where I am at the moment

Thanks - another question - there have been a lot of complaints over the last year about bugs and performance issues with iOS 8.x. Did you have issues with 8.x? Do you notice any of these with the iOS 9 PB? I'm assuming the answer is no from your posts, but wanted to ask.

Simple answer: No.
In depth answer: Most of the issues were fixed in 8.3. The only one that I still had was that apps would not properly close when I did the four-finger gestures (see attached file) and I would not be able to go to the app or the home screen. Hasn't happened to me yet. Also, the bugs that I currently have don't seem familiar.

Found that you can restore from Mac using Public Beta profile and downloading Beta 3 ipsw. Will see if this makes things more stable. It does feel a little snappier from the get go.

Still looking good? Any updates? I'm very tempted to install the public beta on my Air 2.
I have an iPad Air 2 as well and LOVED the improved battery life on Beta 2. Beta 1 sucked so much, I'm tempted to go Beta 3 but would love to hear more about it.

On Beta 2 I am getting over 14h!

I got in on the public beta and wanted to know more about the battery life before I plunge in and install iOS9 on my iPhone 6+ and iPad Air 2.

On my iPad Air 2 with Beta 2 went way way better than iOS 8 and 9 Beta 1; over 14 hours! I want to know if Beta 3 kept that amazing battery life before updating!

iPad Air 2 - It's pretty good. There are some UI stutters every now in then, especially in the notification center. Despite that, it runs pretty well. And likely due to Metal, I can use split view and pip without battery drain. I'm loving it way better that iOS 8. Haven't really gone through intelligence yet. I'll report for the iPhone 5s later.
Thanks. Would love to hear about iPhone 5s.

mine sucks pretty much on beta 3. iPhone 6. already reset all settings but didnt matter much

Thanks again - I think I'll go for it.

So my experience has been erratic. No surprise there.

Started off on 8.4 final. Updated to the public beta. Mostly fine, few glitches a bugs around but nothing major. Battery life seemed fine, no overheating or anything unusual. I thought maybe I could improve things by doing a wipe and set up as new. Unfortunately that made things worse. My phone was burning hot afterwards, and the battery just leaked. Not to mention many new features didn't work at all (e.g. Siri Suggestions).

Decided to come at this from a new angle; into recovery mode I go, restored to 8.4, set up as new, signed into iCloud, paired Apple watch, then downloaded the PB over the air and installed.

Since then it's been running beautifully. Still a few UI issues, and the odd app crash, but Siri suggestions has worked without fail since, app switcher has zero lag, phone is normal temperature and the battery seems significantly better than what I had on 8.4.

So far, so good!

Just woke up to a very odd bug. My phone was very warm (I leave it charging overnight) and had the message that it was almost out of storage. Checking it showed me it was full.

Did a hard reset and I got all my free space (almost 30 GB) back. Weird.

Has not yet crashed on my iPad Air 2. Battery life seems normal.

My battery life on my 5s has been very good so far. If they manage to iron out most of the little bugs then I'll be happy.
