This is with my Watch connected all day and listened to music with my Bluetooth headphones for a few hours. Never turned on power save mode either. Loving this battery life on my 6 Plus!

Second post about this but just wanted to report.

Basically my battery life on 6 plus. Approximately 10-11 hours on screen time depending on what I'm doing. This time I mostly surfed the web, messaged friends a bit on Kakaotalk, played a few idle clicker games, and watched a bunch of videos. Brightness around 10~40%. Did not use Low Power mode this time.

I'm guessing on screen time would be around 9ish hours if I'm using it outside (since I use auto brightness, so I would have high brightness outside).

I think I got like an extra hour from iOS 9 compared to 8.4.

I've had great battery life since a clean install yesterday afternoon, yet as soon as I installed 2 apps this afternoon: Remote, and iBridge, the battery plummeted.

Hard to tell if it's one of those apps, or just bad timing. Phones been heating up a little since too.

More bizarre, is that nearly half of battery usage is from background activity in the settings app. I also notice that when this battery drain begins, the battery widget vanishes for a while. Could just be pure coincidence. But then again...

Usage does not report screen on time... That is all of the usage of the hardware resources, even with the screen off.

No, Usage reports while the screen is on.

View Usage to see the amount of time your iOS device has been awake and in use since the last full charge. The device is awake if you’re on a call, using apps, listening to music, browsing the web, or sending and receiving email, or if an app refreshes in the background. View Standby to see the amount of time the device has been turned on since its last full charge, including the time the device has been asleep.

Yep. And just to clarify MY usage time, even though for Tubex it says "Audio" I did not listen to anything with screen off. I had videos of a youtube commenter talking running in the background while I browsed webs and played games. I occasionally checked back to see what he was up to in the game he was playing, etc.

I never did anything that ran in the background with screen off, I know if you listen to music or whatever it does count as "usage" and can result in higher than normal looking "usage" time on battery settings.

You need to improve your reading comprehension, because it is pretty bad. Anyway, I won't teach you how to do that, but check your actual usage time, turn the screen off and come back after some hours. You'll see that the usage time has increased by a lot of minutes in which the screen was off.
Screen on usage times range from 5 to 6 hours.

Not sure why you feel the need to insult me over something as silly as a battery life time, but okay. If this is true, then I can't explain how I was able to do stuff on my phone for eight straight hours (7 pm to 3 am before needing to charge) after I woke up with it off the charger, because I fell asleep last night while watching videos in bed.

Edited in to just say I'm not saying you're wrong. My iPad Air does this and I've seen some ridiculous "usage time" going as far as 20 hours without doing anything to it, with something like 16 days on standby on it. I'm sure my phone does too, but it's just too small for me to notice the change.

(Also edited to delete out needless sentences)

Sorry if I insulted you, but the quote was actually to the other user.
If you have the brightness set to low, you are able to get 7 hours screen on time, depending on your usage and even a little more. I was referring to the average use.

Sorry, I was quoted in as well so I thought you were talking to me and him both. I also edited my previous post to support your claim because I do know that happens.

Stability is pretty good. Very few app crashes so far. (At least ones that I have not already seen on 8.4) As for battery life, see screenshots. Not too shabby for heavy use.

In the post I quoted, you specifically said that Usage does not report screen-on time, when, according to Apple's website, it should. I don't understand why that necessitated a reply that my reading comprehension sucks. Perhaps you should be more clear and not get so defensive when my post wasn't even meant to insult you or incite an argument.

its bugged, sometimes it does, sometimes it partially does. today off the charger i used youtube app for 2 hrs straight, it recorded 20mins on screen, yesterday i did the same thing for 3hrs straight (this is on screen time), it recorded just under 3hrs, maybe it locked screen or something, fair enough..

Yes, it's possible. I was merely pointing out the intended behavior.

iPhone 6 ....updated this night to iOS 9 Beta 3 .....OK...

But .....some minutes ago I put it in the Apple charger-dock.....
.....Display black....pressing Buttons - no reaction, Display stays black --> pressed "Power" and "home" for some seconds ....now it works.....

A beta is a beta is a beta ....;)

Same here. Guess I'm going back to 8.4 lol... Like you said it's a beta so I can't complain lol

The other user misunderstood the Usage time with Screen on time. He said it was the same thing, which is not and you said it was. My reply specifically said that EVEN WITH THE SCREEN OFF usage times are a general term for all of the usage time. So there's really an issue with reading comprehension and you.
My point was very straightforward, as the other user understood perfectly. Thus I was originally replying to him, when you quoted me and worse: providing out of context information. You're being defensive and invasive, not me.

Except you clearly stated "Usage does not report screen on time." What else is that supposed to mean?

How was being I defensive? Instead of replying calmly and saying "Hey, Usage time means x and x," you felt the need (for some odd reason) to say my reading comprehension is bad. I said nothing to warrant an overreaction like that.

But I'm being defensive
