Try signing out and back in to iCloud if that doesn't work. Strange I know but it worked for me once during an iOS 8 beta update.

You're late. We already determined they are identical to beta 2 notes and have spelling errors.

You are incorrect. The release notes I cited had beta 3 exclusive bugs for iOS and El Capitan betas released today that turned out to be correct when the actual software dropped.

I'm trying to update my iPhone and my apple watch from beta 2 to beta 3 (of iOS 9 and watchOS 2), but in both cases when I try I'm told that they're already up to date (even if they're not). Does someone have any suggestion of how I could solve this issue? Thanks

everyone keeps saying battery life is "superb" and "excellent"... but I installed beta 3 by "restoring", i reset all settings, i reset network settings, i turned off background app refresh and all those things people say kill battery life, and in a few minutes my battery has dropped to 90%.

So Apple Music will definitely NOT be replacing my Spotify Premium account. What horrible navigation. And no shared playlists etc.

Not giving it enough time. It will take a few charge cycles and generally a few days before a decent idea of battery life can be formed.

Haven't had a Spotify premium account... But I signed up for Apple Music under the Family Plan, it's 6 of us on it... 15 bucks. It was just released weeks ago... And it will only get bet better going forward.

if you installed beta 1, you'll know why they are saying that lol, it was downright horrendous. Starting with Beta 2 it got tremendously better and now to me it feels like it's back to normal but i'm sure there's still a little room to go and by GM it will be ironed out.

It all started going wrong for me since 8.3. 8.3 would drop 10% max over night. All other betas since (besides the awful 9.0b1) are dropping at least 50% overnight.

It's indexing. After an update you always want to give it a few hours on charge. Then a few full battery cycles.

I'd doubt Spotify can match Apple's offering. Spotify relies on it's streaming music business, but Apple Music is pretty much a feature for their products. Apple is all about selling hardware... I don't think Spotify can afford to try and match Apple's family plan.

It's not exactly a loss leader for Apple! It's all about deals with music publishers. Have you not been following the news on this!?

We already got the family account-thingie for Spotify in Sweden (5 accounts at ~$22/mo), so I'm sure Spotify will launch a similar service worldwide soon.

You did nothing wrong, B3 batt drains, I hope it's not as bad as B1 ... that was horrific.

EDIT: Overnight wise, it drains a tad more than B2 and nothing close to B1

But .....some minutes ago I put it in the Apple charger-dock.....
.....now Display black....pressing Buttons - no reaction, Display stays black --> pressed "Power" and "home" for some seconds ....now it works.....

That combo is not available right now in Split View. When you have the Music app open you can only do slide-over not split screen with any other app. News app shows up fine in split view.
