I'm afraid the Apple devs partied a bit too hard over the holiday weekend....

And anyway, there are so many bugs in beta 2 that I'd prefer they take their time to eliminate as many as possible.

Well, odds are regardless of if it was released yesterday or next Monday that the builds would have been the same anyways. What they push to developers and eventually the public beta program are more than certain 2-3 builds behind their own internal build.

I believe it's to release certain "fixes", changes or features during each step so that any bugs can be narrowed down to specific things.

Here we go again.

To some, Wednesday is still early in the week.
You and many others will be repeating the same trout over and over again, wether it's on a Wednesday or a Saturday.

Sorry but you're letting your desire for this beta affect you too much. Enough so that your looking for whatever excuse, whatever reason to hopefully just convince yourself it's still early in the week.

None of that really matters of the plans have changed for whatever reason. It's pretty much a moot discussion when it comes to whether it's early in the week or not.

I know. But my post is relevant for any other reason. People create false hope, human nature I suppose.

Realistically the hope was created by Eddy Cue's statements, whether or not they were right or something was changed. Things wouldn't really be nearly where they have been over the last couple of days if it wasn't for those statements.

If we don't see it today, it's simple. We will see it next week.

Although I'm not quite sure what Cue meant if he said "early next week" and it doesn't get released today.

Thursday is towards the end of the week.

Will you just stop it? It's people like you that makes things worst with your flippant comments. "It will be here next week, SIMPLE!"

Just stop stating like you know when these betas will be released and just speculate like everyone else should be doing.

I think it simply means his statement was subject to change, he wasn't looking into a crystal ball, rather indicating an estimate/goal, deadlines aren't always met for whatever reason. It's ready when it's ready, as it were.

In all fairness, it's assumed he has no inside info or special insight, so it's implied speculative. At least that's how I'm going to interpret every post in this forum going forward. Nobody knows, not even the SVP.

Beta 2 is almost a perfect beta imo. My Air 2 runs smooth and the battery life is great.
A respring now and then but it's light years ahed of Beta 1.

Let's hope Beta 3 will be just as good or better as Beta 2 (stability wise)

I think most agree Beta 2 is good enough stability wise for now. But many are upset about not being able to use Apple Music.

I know, some people (shenfray) take it way too seriously. Of course I don't know.

But yes, of course, it was an ETA I suppose. Still hoping it is out today though. I have a feeling it was released yesterday but for like 30 seconds before it was pulled. They might have ran into an issue with the deployment.

And some people (SMIDG3T) take offence way too easily.

I made a massive mistake upgrading my apple watch to iOS 9. On beta 2 the battery only lasts half a day. The watch keeps restarting itself. If I knew I couldn't downgrade my watch then I wouldn't of done it. Now I am screwed lol
