Sorry, but they've been there. Not sure what you want me to say. I don't have any devices on iOS 6 or later, but I can tell you the Regulatory menu is on my iPad Air 2 running iOS 8.4.

I meant that Regulatory menu has never been in that menu (settings -general -below VPN), it has never been there before in any other iOS version. Actually it is in settings - general - information (in spanish) - legal

Battery iPhone 6 beta 5 unplugged from charge long to 100% seem to be loosing 1% every few minutes currently down to 83% with 26mins usage. Not looking good this one. Photo was taken before and photo taken now within 20mins of each other
Some apps aren't optimized for iOS 9 yet and will continue running in the background if you don't kill them. I know for sure youtube is one of them. I left youtube open on my iPad and let it sit. Came back and saw I had lost around 30% battery but I hadn't touched my iPad. Youtube had about 9.2 hours of background use all because I didn't kill the app in multitasking. Just something to keep an eye on

This would technically be a beta 2 feature, but is this new?

Haven't seen that before. Do you plug your device in overnight? It may have learned that

They have announced this feature at the keynote. The device can automatically figure out when you don't use your device normally and update the OS and you wake up to the updated version.

I am pretty disappointed with this beta. I did a clean install on 5s with no backup, I gave it time to do his "indexing" BS and: multitasking is still not buttery smooth, control center still lags, scrolling is a bit laggy and the animation when you rotate the keyboard is again, LAGGY. It is an improvement over beta 4 but is not as good as 8.4 or better as some say. Also, when I try to sync my music with my pc, it makes itunes crash.

+1 The lagginess is still there, if not slightly worse.

The first thing I did when I installed Beta 5 was go on and change the wallpaper, except that it froze when I tried clicking on a new wallpaper to set. Had to force close Settings and try twice. Not a good start.

Is this feature of showing the size of iCloud photo uploads (and presumably downloads) new? Or have I just missed that before.

Not a new feature in this beta however I am unsure when it was introduced - since the release of Photos maybe?

You should mention that the integration of third party keyboards is fixed within this beta. No more lags on load - working perfect with the newest SwiftKey-beta!

Pressing cancel on a proactive search finally brings back all the contacts/apps/nearby/news to the screen. (Previously it would always go blank until you swiped back into proactive.)

The Batteries widget is still there for me even though I'm not connected via Bluetooth.

Feature or bug?? Maybe it now syncs across a Wi-Fi network is there's a connection.

Before, the Batteries widget would only be displayed if the iPhone was connected to the watch.

Can anyone confirm this?

Not sure if this is a Beta 5 change or whether this was present in previous versions, if you open the Proactive page and swipe downwards, the keyboard pops up ready to enter text for search. Is this new?
