All you lucky people in the US with wifi calling. My carrier (Rogers) here in Canada "claimed" they were going to add it back when iOS 8.0 came out. Well...here we are with iOS 9 around the corner and they still haven't added it. /sigh

Don't worry. I'm in the US on Verizon and I don't even have it.

IMO...iOS 9 Beta 5 is still sluggish on 6 Plus. As where 8.4. Seems like Apple having a hard time optimizing the OS for it's flagship model!

I have half a mind on switching to...god forbid...Android!

Just my 2 cents...

There was never to be a special build for older devices but faster performance IS 9's flagship feature and I call BS. No subsequent full-number version was ever faster than the previous and I just don't see any improvements over 8.4 even on Air 2. I know it's a beta things don't change much this late in the game.

My 2 cents (based on 3 years experience with Android) - the current iOS beta may only have two or three more updates before release where it will (hopefully) be far more polished than it's current state. Switch to Android and you will never see anything even barely resembling a 'polished state'. But hey at least you would be able to get curly typography in bright pink.

Going off topic here and I really don't mean to start this but I bit. Stick around for a bit longer and I think you will be glad you stayed with iOS.

Idk if you read the piece I linked to above, Mark Gurman pretty strongly implied that they would be making a special build of iOS 9 for A5 devices...

Give it some time. I have had this happen a few times in the past. Fixed with up-pair and pair again but this cleared some of my activity data. I have turned location services off and on with little success. (suggested) I have opened the weather app on my phone and set a default location with limited success. Yesterday when I didn't have the temperature I restarted everything, turned location services off and on and made sure weather would show on my phone. Nothing helped so I ignored it. A few hours later it was back and has been fine. I have only lost the temperature view a few times but I don't know why nor do I have a solid fix other than to pair again.

I got it to work with turning off the watch, waiting 5 minutes and booting back up. Weather came right up

I don't understand that as there being a separate version of 9 for A5 devices. It means the core OS is built to run well on older devices and features are added to devices tat can handle it.
Well either way, they failed to do so. iOS 9 has never run well on my 4s. I personally don't care, my daily driver is a 5s and I will be getting the 6s in the fall. Just thinking about my friends and family that will be coming to me asking me to fix their iPad 2's and iPhone 4s'.

Ah, yes. iOS 9 is still in beta for another month and it's already a failure. :)

Guys, I've just discovered a new feature by accident:

If you plug your headphones into your device while the device is locked, the screen will now power up and show the clock screen with the Music icon.

*sigh* Look, I'm annoyed as anyone when people complain about things not running smoothly in betas, but honestly. 5 dev betas and 3 public betas later, and iOS 9 does not run well on an A5 device. I may be completely wrong, but I highly doubt it will magically stop dropping frames with every animation before the GM. Trust me, I want to be wrong. I just don't see it happening.

Yep, it's pure BS. It just never happens with iOS.

That's a new feature in iOS 9, been there since beta 1.

Are you sure, that's never happened before and I've been running every beta of iOS 9 and plug in my headphones daily. I'm referring to the auto-powering of the screen when you plug in your headphones, not the Music icon showing when you plug in the headphone. I'm almost definitely sure the screen powering on connection is new to Beta 5.
