On top of that I don't know how he can claim "which usually means no public beta anymore" when this is the first iOS public beta for a x.0 release. There is no previous gauge to go off of.

...and on top of all that, who would have thought the last beta would come out when it did. Surprise, the past schedule is helpful but hard to read anymore.

So is this something new. Not sure if in previous betas but pretty sure it is new to 9

Question about the feedback app... Is there a way to track the progress of items, e.g. Whether they've looked at them, dismissed them, assigned them to engineering etc etc? I've submitted bug reports before where you can do this. All my feedback through the feedback app is fairly new so I'm not surprised nothing appears to have been communicated back to me, but also I'm not sure what to expect if/when they look at it.
I've had 9 bugs get fixed I've submitted and never once saw any feedback (pardon the pun) from Apple.

I think it only works if the subject is the same. It needs more than just "from the same email address"

Oh how I wished all the email spam from this forum from watched threads would be grouped together as one instead of each individually.
Looks like its not taking sent Mails in to account

Hi Februarian,

How do you have all those extra keys on your keyboard, like bold/italics/underline, move left/right, etc.?I just have a simple keyboard on beta5.
If you have zoom in display (which displays less content on screen but everything is bigger) enabled, you may see nothing new for iPhone plus.

Has the ridiculous bug where music volume decreased on iPhone after a notification been fixed?

At least volume works fine on an iPad but I have no idea if the bug has been there in the first place.

Like permanently down? It's never done that on mine in any version. All it does is lower the volume for a couple seconds to play the text/email tone (so it doesn't blast it loud over speakers) and then goes back up to where it was.

Strange. I've never experienced that on my iPhone 5 or 6 (6 has been from 8.3 beta to 9.0 PB 3) on headphone or phone speaker or Bluetooth speaker. It's always returned to proper level after for me.

Well, I hope they've taken care of it. Can't imagine anything more frustrating than too low volume which can't be raised as much as it normally could.

At least in iOS 8 that nasty bug exists.

Is Apple Music just stopping on its own after a random number of songs a beta issue? Or is this an Apple Music issue?

I normally use Pandora but there's fewer ads in AM so I've been trying it out. Frustrating having to unlock, go back into music and re-select the station to continue.

I think we can all agree that while there's no set release schedule for betas, there is somewhat of a pattern / likely timeframe.

I'm unsure if it has already been mentioned but I've been following the thread since it started and haven't noticed it myself.

New feature (as far as I'm aware).

In Messages, if there's a huge message, it is condensed and an arrow is added to the bottom right. Tapping the message opens up another pane showing all of the text.

Is anyone else experiencing an issue with the Settings app where, when you first open it, it doesn't open at the top of the page but rather opens with "Wifi" being at the top of the page. Then, I have scroll to show Airplane mode and the search bar.

IS it just me?

Not just you, same here, especially bad on iPad.

I had this with all my apps when first installing betas of iOS 9. What worked for me was resetting all settings. From the general menu.

I'm sorry if it's been discussed already, as I can't find a way to search in the thread. My Siri (on PB3) still doesn't play the Listening sound, even though it's said that it should. Also, when I ask Siri for information on anything, and not an action, it will display the information for a few seconds, then close back to the lock screen, making it darn hard to use for many things (including things like finding people via Find My Friends, as it closes before a location is pinpointed.)
