Damn, this version of iOS is a mess! I'm quite sure 9.0.1 will be an immediate update after the 6s is released.

I sure hope this is just my phone indexing or getting settled, but the battery life is awful(I'm talking iOS9 beta 1 awful here) Minimal usage on my 6 and I'm at 85% after 2 hours.... My Watch isn't doing much better on the WatchOS 2 GM, 2 hours off the charger and its at 84%.

Try resetting all settings. Might help.

The GM has been good so far on my 6 Plus coming directly from 8.4.1. The only odd thing, it was really warm when I unplugged it from the charger this morning. I realized it was still uploading/syncing pics to iCloud Photo Library. For some reason this is going excruciatingly slow. Other than that, I haven't noticed any issues.

My iPad Air 2 that was running PB3 however has been a complete disaster from beginning to end. On first boot after the restore, it was asking me for my iTunes store password and wouldn't accept the password for my Apple ID. Had to quickly dismiss the prompts and opt out of everything during the initial setup in order to get into the iPad. For some reason the app restore wouldn't complete and I can't do things like sync photos with iCloud Photo Library until the restore finishes. Now I have stuck update notifications on both the app store and the settings app that won't go away.

My 6 Plus is running well...definitely no worse than 8.4.1.

The GM is running like a dream on my Air 2 (updated from 8.4.1). Very very smooth and no hiccups whatsoever.

A bit smoother than beta 5. Not by much though (maybe on par or slightly worse than 8.4.1). Ridiculous, considering SMOOTHNESS and PERFORMANCE was/is supposed to be a MAJOR feature of iOS 9...

The GM has been running amazingly well on my 5S. I'm sure a lot of it is in my head because the latest beta was so awful. But Wow, I still have 100% battery today; after being up for almost 4 hours now. I would have been down to 60% on the last beta. It's also really nice to have everything run so smoothly without burning my hands.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, based on what I've been reading it's been a mixed bag but we all know that no update is perfect and each one will introduce a new bug.

Going to install the GM now!

I'm having major battery drain on the watch, went from 100% to 0% overnight! I've re-paired it so I'll see what that does.

Running 9.1 on my iPhone 6 Plus and it's running beautifully. No stuttering, no lag, performance is snappy and fast and battery life seems to be about the same I was getting on Beta 5, perhaps a little more. Been off the charger for 4 hours and I'm at 81% with heavy usage.

I have both of these devices, so looking forward to next week. Any sleep/wake delay on Air 2?

Thanks for the update!

Installed the GM last night before going to bed (so it could settle and index overnight) and I gotta say, it's running pretty smooth on my 6+. Animations don't lag as much, apps open pretty quick. Can't comment on battery as I usually give it 2 charging cycles before gauging. So far I'm pretty happy with this version of iOS.

Currently Running most recent PB. For clarification, so that I don't get the annoying update message, should I remove the Profile before updating through iTunes or after?

Installed the GM on my 6+ last night. I can't say I'm very impressed. There is a very noticeable lag in almost everything that I do. After tapping on an app icon, there is an obvious delay before the app actually opens. Keyboard lag is awful and I can barely type a full sentence without the keyboard missing several of my inputs. And what's with the Settings app opening partially scrolled down? This build feels very half-baked to me.

My iPad Air 2, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have any of these lag problems with the GM build. It runs just as well as 8.4.1, albeit with a few minor bugs (such as the Settings app scroll-down and a few apps crashing).

Hopefully iOS 9 will be smoother on the 6s+. Considering it should have similar hardware as the Air 2, I'm expecting it to be a much better experience.

100% agreed. Air 2 is a dream on 9.0 but on the 6+ it feels like I'm waiting for things to happen more instead of actions just happening quickly. Can't really explain it...it's like something is just off about it.
