For those on PB3, where are you getting the GM from? I'm not getting any notification for it whether OTA or connected to iTunes.
There is no OTA and it will not be available through iTunes until next week. You can download the iOS 9 GM from the developer centre, or google it.

Yes, that was what I was curious about. I was assuming those on PB3 were not devs so would not have access to the developer centre (as I don't). Some of the posts read as if PB users were able to get the GM (through iTunes, point long since taken about OTA availability). If dev centre is the only place to get it, then I'll wait for the full release on the 16th - don't fancy risking downloading from an unofficial soure.

so I restored (option-key + restore button on iTunes) iOS9 GM on my Air2 which was originally running 8.4. I know there's supposed to be a new "news" app that replaces newstand but I cannot see. Can someone direct me to right direction? thanks

I'm bummed that iOS 9 GM isn't available for we Public Beta users, especially since we can get El Capitan GM and the iOS 9 Public Beta 3 (which is the only OTA update available) has reportedly expired.

Maybe today.....?

I'm getting way worse battery life on my 6. I also use the watch. Charged in the morning, I left the house, and 4 hours later it was on 65%. The only thing I did was listen to music basically and music player is showing 50% battery usage. How can 2 hours of music eat away that much battery?

I noticed my 6 plus draining quickly when I updated. I reset all settings and now it's fine. Perhaps you should try that

Are you on watchOS2?

Ummm, I'd hate to be the one to piss on the bonfire, but the "GM" Version 13A340 is < 13A432c (PB3)

This might explain the behaviour 'updating' back to PB3..

Or am I missing something ?

I continue to think my iPhone 6 is slightly smoother with GM vs the last beta. As far as battery is concerned, it's too early to say for sure, but early signs are good. It's been off charge for 7 hours, with 1 hour of use, and it's on 92%. Full power mode.

Nope, I'm on WatchOS 1.01. I'll reset settings and give it a try. Thanks.

You are missing something because betas have letters at the end of their build numbers and the GM does not. Same thing happened from iOS 8 beta 5 to iOS 8 GM. Apple didn't release a build older than the last beta.

It has been about 12 hours since I installed iOS 9 GM. Thus far, battery life has been good with mixed usage. Have not experienced any abnormal drain. I have also not experienced any crashes, stuttering, slowness or the like. All apps are working as they should, even some that had a problem with earlier beta builds.

I did notice, there is no chime sound anymore when enabling Siri. You get what sounds like a very short vibrate type prompt.

iPhone 6

Just download the IPSW from somewhere (torrent or that french site) and use SHIFT+update in iTunes for PC or option+update on Mac.

How many people going update vs restore route?
update.
no need to restore unless things are screwy and off after update. Bizarre battery performance, crashing, etc. Problems are rare enough, you waste your time restoring needlessly.
