iOS 9 GM is way better than beta 5 for me though. Much, much better.

Same on my 6 plus, was getting nervous because beta 5 was occasionally stuttery and laggy, but the GM has been holding up great for the last few hours. Upgraded, did not restore, via iTunes

Did the update to GM on my iPhone 6+ 128GB. It sat for an hour or so after the update was done as I was busy doing other stuff but everything is running smooth. A few apps hesitated the first time I opened them but now they are opening quickly again.

Safe to say this is the final release that will be pushed out next Wednesday just like every year?

For those on public beta. Delete the profile before going to check the iOS software update. For some reason it is downloading the third public beta. Then you need to download, delete (profile and update), reboot. The annoying iOS Notification is still there. Guess will have to see until iOS 9.0.1.
So you have to redownload the public beta and then delete the profile?

No. The profile is still in settings. If you are installing the IPSW file. Delete the profile. Then update.

Just put it on my 4s

Very impressed with it

Much snappier than iOS 8, less lag, less skipped animations

Feels faster than b5 to me. And I just spent the last month and today with b5.

Screen unlocking is the fastest its been since iOS 7. Very impressed for 4s. (At least for me)

Night and day different from the first iOS 9 beta!

Anyone have any issues with FaceTime and iMessage? Says I need to confirm my email (just takes me to apple sign in page where I can't do anything). Before ios9 I needed to create a app specific password

Try removing the beta profile, then going into storage & usage to see if the beta file was auto downloaded (it had been for me by the time my restore completed) then do a hard reset - should tell you you're up to date after those steps.

I did these steps and it shows I'm up to date but the notification badge on the settings icon is still there. I restarted a few times but it won't go away. Any suggestions?

What exactly are you looking for in usage and storage. It still shows PB3 for me even though I'm on GM.

I updated to the GM but it's showing build number 13A341. That's not correct does anyone know how to get to the GM on 5s.

I have a question, if I upgrade my PB to the GM with the IPSW file, can I upgrade to the final version once it's available? Or at least do I get further updates like 9.1?
GM is the final version. And yes you should be able to update to 9.1
