No betas today or any time between now and September 9th. No "pre-GM" either. GM will be out September 9th and that's that.

Hey how dare you ruin the hopes of those ignorant beta users who continue to believe that we'll get anything before the event!
iOS 5 GM came out 8 days before the final
iOS 6 GM came out 7 days before the final
iOS 7 GM came out 8 days before the final
iOS 8 GM came out 8 days before the final
Why would it be hard to believe that iOS 9 GM wouldn't come out sometime this week?
Because none of the major version GMs come out before the iPhone event (which is about a week or so before the final version comes out).
lol so naive. perhaps you don't realize that the GM contains codes that reveal information about the new devices and that apple never releases the GM prior to the iPhone event?

In all seriousness I don't care if they mention it, as long as it has it! Heck I would take 1.5 GB of RAM! 50 percent more would show a big difference I would think.

Except for that picture is fake. It is presumably from the iPad 3 keynote, which I've just watched again, and it's nowhere to be found...
Final doesn't come out until a week after the event, so that's why. GM always comes out at the event.
And it's poor grammar. It would be "Twice the RAM" not "Double."

Anyways, I agree with you. 2 GB of RAM is a must on 6s(plus).
El Capitan is 1.5 months away from going public.

Are you sure? Twice is an adverb. Double can be an adjective, adverb, pronoun, verb or a predeterminer.

The GM came out, after the iPhone Keynote!
It's really a shame that they might not be doing PB 4 as on my 6 it's still not as smooth as 8.4.1. I really thought they were going to do it right this time since I've had zero issues with the PB's of El Cap. They really are just running out of time to do a PB 4 though, unless it came out like today. Take me back to the good old days where they had there event and said the magic words "and it's available TODAY". This announcing then waiting for more then six months is getting old.
They are going to announce its availability at the iPhone event (and public availability shortly after). Not sure what days we are talking about as far as not having betas, unless we go back to perhaps before it was even called iOS.
My phone has a weird bug where if I'm using an app that's landscape mode (that I can't use in portrait ) anything I open from a notification will also be in landscape mode despite the fact that I have rotation lock on, like messaging, email, etc. That is only been happening with the latest beta and it's driving me nuts.
I really hope the GM brings the speed and smoothness that has been lost throughout the iOS 9 betas. 8.4 was very quick on my 6+ and even my Air 2 has lost a little bit.
My 6+ lags in the Safari tabs screen and when exiting to the home screen on 8.4.1. Hoping the GM fixes this type of stuff
