No. Sorry. Apple needs to push more sales.

The iPad Mini will be supported because it is shipping right now but no go on the 4s.

Absolutely not.Ios 9 wont be compatible with 4s..Iphone 5 will get., but possibly IOS 9 will be the last for Iphone 5.[/QUOTE_-]

Yes iOS 9 will be available for 4s im pretty sure bc they say iOS 9 will be mostly under the hood improvements and stability for older devices. iPhone 4s and up will recieve the update. But this will probably be the last update for iPhone 4s.

Yes, Apple TV 3rd uses A5 and Elgato stated that Apple TV 3rd can be used as a middle-man for Siri when you're not home.

So, iPhone 4s will receive it.

Why the hate? Its great for those of us on older devices. You realise that the iPad 2 is still the iPad with the largest installed base?

Do you realise that around half of the installed iPads are A5?

iOS 9 is going to be a performance based update, to improve performance.

What does it matter to you? You don't even use an A5 device, according to what you told me in a mother thread.

Don't believe till Apple announce it tomm.

I can pretty much say 100 percent that at least the Touch 5 and Mini 1 wil get it.

Fingers crossed for the others. I believe that there have been too many leaks to suggest it is happening for it not to happen, however yes I don't want to get too excited.

Great, this is Apple at its best!
An iPhone from 2011 get's the current iOS version for 2015. Nexus 4 from 2012 is already unsupported.

Yet still, all of my friends are complaining about Apple concerning planned obsolescence - couldn't be further from the truth!

It's pre-release software. There is no guarantee that it will be in the public release. Yes, good chance ... but by no means 100%.
Fairly certain that if it was listed in the WWDC slides about iOS 9 in general (not about beta specifically) and appears at Apple's own iOS 9 web site at http://www.apple.com/ios/ios9-preview/ (aimed at the public and not specifically about the beta) it would be a pretty big screw up on their part to not release the final version for the listed devices.
