iOS 9 Pangu Jailbreak Now available

Just jailbroke my iPad Air.

Honestly don't really see a whole lot of tweaks I "need" that pretty much haven't already been addressed by ios9.

Installed the side by side app tweak and seeing my tabs in safari already refreshing more. The fake 3D Touch has some maturing to do and compared to the 3D Touch experience with pressure and haptic feedback it really isn't the same as a long press.

So far so good
 
Well I said yesterday that I was going to jailbreak today but I decided to have a beer tonight so jailbreaking will have to wait, priorities and all that you know.

For the Irish on here though, let's hope Australia are **** on Sunday.

still not compatible last time i checked (1.9.5)

it does work tough... tested it before doing a final restore.

As previously stated 2000 times, NO NO NO NO. LOL

They wouldn't have released it right now if it did. iOS 9.1 patches the exploit used. So any jailbreak they release for 9.1 would require a new exploit.

Read through the forum, it's been answered.

Are you sure that it's patched? Or are they waiting for 9.1 final before they release it?

I hope the ladder.
 
I have yet to find any app or tweak or anything to work at all yet. Not even the ones that are listed in the google doc as working work. I know its only been going on two days, but so far this jailbreak is a complete and utter bust and waste of time. I jailbroke basically so I could run cydia and thats it.

It was even worse for the iOS 7.1+ & iOS 8+ jailbreak. Since those jailbreaks were released without collaboration with saurik, cydia & cydia substrate was not even updated until 1-3 days after the jailbreak came out

There was a change this year, in which pangu collaborated with saurik so he got cydia and cydia substrate and other tweaks/tools updated on the same day the jailbreak was released

Like with every jailbreak, I would suggest to give it a week before jailbreaking for everything to settle down (bug fixes, developers to update their tweaks/apps, etc.)

Because, as you have stated, you can't really do much with a jailbreak right now

It's patched. It's not like features that get added or released. Apple has teams of people barreling through their code constantly to look for security vulnerabilities. Vulnerabilities generally don't come back, because they're just that, a vulnerability. They likely just caught this one early. So with 100% certainty, THIS exact vulnerability will NOT be available in 9.1, and hence this particular exploit to jailbreak will NOT be possible in 9.1. With that said, as evidenced by the past, the jailbreak teams do a pretty good job finding new weaknesses in major iOS releases, so I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see a new exploit and new jailbreak out for 9.1 at some point, hopefully sooner than later. :)
 
Working great on my 6+ 9.0.2 Did not restore or wipe. Just put in airplane mode and used a my VM.

I just installed Forcybon my iPad Air 2 and you can set it to press and the menu comes up. I love it!! Now, I am just waiting for some themes.

Hi,

I lost my original jailbreak when I had to move from iOS 8.4.1 to iOS 9.

Ive ended up restoring as my iPhone stuck on the  logo logo when I tried the soft reset option of holding the home button/power button.

Recovery mode used through iTunes.

Gave it a go again to jailbreak and success Cydia launches.
 
I successfully jailbroke my 6s by running Windows with vmware.

So far I got statusvol+, speed intensifier, f.lux, rounddock, Shortcuts (adds 3D Touch shortcuts to other Apple apps), and CircleIcons

How does Shortcuts behave ?

Long press to launch with haptic feedback ?

I'm using Forcy right now.
 
With Parallels 10 running Win8.1 on 10.10 + Pangu 1.0.1 + the latest iTunes, I had absolutely no problems JB'ing:

an iPad2
an iPad Air 2
