You know you're grasping at straws when your argument is nothing but how the other side is being overly hyperbolic by simply posting a video of lag and asking "This is lag, yes?"

That is a yes or no question. The proper response is not "Well, some people are making opinionated posts without using any qualifiers so I'll point that out a lot because it ignores my 'opinion' that looks more like denial". This is a forum. The purpose of posting is to share opinions. Arguing with people for posting their opinions without being explicitly fair to the other side is a waste. Argue your opinion if it's right to you and they should do the same. No qualifiers or "the issue has grey areas" or "that's hyperbole" makes a worthwhile point.

I'll also dispel some other arguments.

1. The defense that iOS 9 is more advanced than iOS 6. Yes. We know that, and it's a given. That doesn't mean people can't call out flaws when they see them. iOS 6 is also more advanced that iPhone OS 3. Making progress in software doesn't mean flawed software must be made and released. I know that nobody would want to use iOS 6 as the sole daily driver OS in 2016. That's not what anyone is asking for.

2. The idea that iOS 9 only has more issues because we use iOS 9 more. Obviously this isn't true because iOS 6 hasn't disappeared. Myself and others still have iOS 6 devices today and doing the same tasks that have issues on iOS 9 like lag or UI failure do not on iOS 6. That is not any nostalgia for iOS 6. It's plain truth.

3. The idea that the bugs are in uncommon uses. That doesn't matter. iOS 6 still doesn't collapse when I give it a "stress test". iOS 9, even up to 9.3 can still be locked up to a state to where it requires a hard reset to be recovered, just with user interaction. iOS 6 is 3 years old and nobody has found something as bad in it. Not in 6.1.4, not in 6.0. It took less than a month for someone to find a fatal iOS 9 bug. It also took me 0 days to find Springboard crashes with 100% success rates on iOS 7 and 8. The bottom line is that it's better to not have bugs than it is to have them, and iOS 6 has less of them. Reply to this post if you don't agree with that statement.

Notice that I said less bugs. Not zero. Don't talk to me about exaggeration and "black and white" or "us vs. them".

Don't believe me when I talk about UI failure?

You know this argument of iOS 9 having more features hence slower is BS when the device is incapable of even keeping up with my typing speed and opening more than 2 tabs both of which were easily possible on iOS 6

As has been pointed out before, it sounds like you (and perhaps some others) are having more issues and/or more severe issues than many others. As always, that's not to say your issues don't exist or that they don't matter (or that there aren't iOS issues in existence in general), but simply to say that the particular things you are describing don't appear to be part of the general experience.

It did sound like you encountered less issues because you simply don't use the features.

If everybody had those issues Apple would be out of business. Maybe you have a hardware problem.

I certainly type and have quite a few more (browser) tabs open than just a couple, so I'm definitely using the features that were mentioned in the post that I replied to. There might be some that I'm not using, or more likely not as often, and while that could have some impact on it all, it seems that a good amount of it also seems to come down to some people seemingly having more issues and/or issues to a larger degree than some others (not when it comes to every issue necessarily, but at least when it comes to some if not even many).

A hardware problem on my iPhone 6s AND my brother's iPhone 6? Or every iPhone with iOS 9 that I have been able to get my hands on? If I got hold of yours I could perform every bug in the videos. I don't say people are in denial to be insulting or condescending. I say it because of responses like this one.

LOL at your problems. I watched the videos and really ROTFL. Those problems will never effect me. LOL.

You should learn more about the actual job title many companies have called "Software Quality Assurance Tester".
And it's possible they might very well know of these types of issues, but they are of low enough severity and/or priority that they haven't been addressed so far.

I take no umbrage. Your phones have these issues, I understand that.
