Vast majority of those people will be just fine since they aren't having performance issues.
yea but where are the peformance improvements, the ones Apple mentions on their iOS 9 web page?

Under the covers. Safari for one is much better/faster/smoother.yea but where are the peformance improvements, the ones Apple mentions on their iOS 9 web page?
I actually did, it's just that some might not like the answer. You didn't answer the question though : )
No you didn't you simply stated that some people might perceive it faster. He was asking if it is faster, it's a simple question and doesn't need any cryptic answers.I actually did, it's just that some might not like the answer.
What I was saying is that Apple saying that it's faster and better just on its own can be enough for many people to perceive it that way for themselves. As far as pointing out what performs better, as objective as that should be, mostly it's still subjective where someone will feel some animation might take a fraction too long for them to be annoyed by it while others won't notice it or won't be affected by it. We've seen that in far too many discussions, making it rather hard to really prove that it's better or worse since it's not the same for everyone (even if just on the level of perception). The answer isn't cryptic, it's just realistic, and given what it is there are certain those who might not like it (or feel that it just can't be that, even if it often ends up being that way).No you didn't you simply stated that some people might perceive it faster. Yep. Running 9.1 on my iPhone 6 and it feels great. Why is anybody using 9.0 over 9.1? 9.1 seems awesome!!!
I have gone back to iOS 8.4.1 on my iPhone 6 and Air 2. On the Air 2 I'm not noticing as much of a difference, but on my 6 the smoothness and speed/responsiveness of iOS 8.4.1 is very noticeable versus iOS 9.0 and 9.1.
I think I'll stick it out on iOS 8.4.1 for now, especially on my 6.
Not so much on the 6 Plus -_-Yep. Running 9.1 on my iPhone 6 and it feels great.
I am starting to think the 6 plus is just under powered and nothing will change thatNot so much on the 6 Plus -_-
it is. Apple should have given it a beefier 6-core GPU to push all those extra pixels and unnecessary blur effects.I am starting to think the 6 plus is just under powered and nothing will change that

Choose a dynamic wallpaper, go to app switcher and swipe left and right. (15 frames per second animation). It's awesome on my 6+.

Pull down spotlight and rotate the screen. (15 fps animation)
Re-enter an app from app switcher (20 fps animation).
etc.
Those are the same for each and every iPhone 6 Plus
I'm not using them, but it is unacceptable that a 1 yo flagship phone (a $1000 one nevertheless) is incapable of handling dynamic wallpapers. If dynamic wallpapers are messing up your experience, I have some wonderful advice for you.
Don't use them.

Increase contrast does that. It unfortunately turns your OS into an ugly black/grey t**d.or at the very least a performance toggle in the settings that disabled the blur effects and all the useless eye candy.
I can't believe, after all of the talk by Apple that IOS 9 would bring performance improvements, its turned out it may not be the case. Is there a chance that something is running in the background like a debug log that will be turned off for the fina release? I couldn't stand poor performance for another year....
