iPad 3G - Apple Store availability

sold out all over South Florida. I think I've called every Apple Store AND Best Buy within 100 mile radius. I am on the reservation list but was told 2 weeks minimum. i want mine now dammit!!

although i did get the "you're moving up the priority list" email. not sure how long to go after that email, but this thing can't come soon enough, especially since i am traveling in 2 weeks.

Just purchased mine (16gb 3G) through the apple store yesterday. Still a 14 day wait for shipping. Is this fairly standard? What happened to the so called ipad production revamp?
