iPad 3G - Apple Store availability

Has anyone in the Phoenix az area signed up for 'notify me', if so have you had any luck in getting an ipad and roughly how long did it take.
 
I reserved 16 May at the Forum Shops in Las Vegas. I heard nothing for 11 days, so I called them yesterday. I was told that I was still on the list, but they could not tell me where on the list I was.

Coincidentally (really?) I got the email at 10:45 this morning that I iPad is ready for me to pick up.

I guess I will just consider it coincidence and pick it up!

Hang in there all, and give them a call. Maybe it will bump you up the list.

I reserved last saturday for a 32GB 3G Ipad from fith avenue shop, still haven't recived any email and leaving NYC monday... anyone know if there is any hope? how is the stock in NYC? :)
 
Here's my update:

Reserved a 32gb 3G at the Louisville Oxmoor Store on Saturday 5/14. Received an email saying it had arrived on Wednesday 5/26 at 8am.

Reserved a 32gb 3G at the Cincinnati Kenwood Store on Tuesday 5/18. Received an email on Friday 5/28 at 7:30 am.

So it was about 9 business days for both stores.

However, my mom reserved her 32gb 3G at the Charlotte Store on Monday 5/16 and is still waiting on her email...

Don't forget to keep checking Best Buy inventory - they've been getting a decent amount around here - even though they're usually gone within 2 hours. Their website is iPhone-friendly though, so you can check it while you are out and about.
 
Hey guys. Macrumors has been good to me, and I got my iPad in less than one week after making the "Notify Me" reservation.

So, I'm going to give back because I just got another "Notify Me" with a Los Angeles based store for a 32gig 3G iPad. PM me and I'll let you know more details of when it should be available and what store you can find it at.
 
I reserved a 16gb 3G + wifi on Friday the 21 and just got my email and picked it up today. I got it a lot earlier than I expected, I am typing this on my iPad right now! It was from the apple store in Cherry Hill NJ by the way.
 
Put in a order on 5/20 for a 3G+32GB at the Denver Cherry Creek Apple Store (home of the ripped off pinkie), picked it up tonight after I got an email around 6pm.
 
I reserved my iPad 32 GB WiFi at an Apple Store on Friday. It's day two of my wait and it's already killing me! How long has the average wait been for WiFi iPads??
 
I know this thread is about 3G Apple Store availability but I just ordered a 32GB wifi model (as a gift) with overnight shipping from MacMall (they have both the 32GB and 64GB wifi models in stock). Might be an option for those of you that can't or don't want to wait and are looking for one of those two models. I saw several posts in here about people looking for the wifi only models.
 
I reserved a 32gb in Sacramento on Tuesday. I called today, and the representative said I should expect to receive mine this week.
 
Does anyone know about the situation in UK, It was released on Friday, I went there yesterday and apparently there was not one 3G iPad left (I was hoping to 64GB version), I signed up for the notify me list, hopefully they are prioritizing the shipments :/
 
I wonder if the same amount of waits will occur with the new iPhone, or will apple will have better stock b/c they Are better able to guage demand based on previous sales figures.
 
I called an badgered the folks at the Walnut Creek store, 12 days and counting. No. 5 on the list. Hopefully a few people have flats on the way to the store, maybe some gets called into work, baby gets delivered, anything. Does that make me a bad person? Anyway, I'm sure the store people will b e glad to be done with me

iPhone and iPad are in totally different categories. Very few people are going to rush to buy an iPhone. Mostly those with expired contracts will.
 
In Phoenix and picked mine up today

From the arrowhead apple store. I was in the que for the third time. First two I was out of town. Took two weeks first times two times and one week this time. They said they received a huge shipment yesterday. I really like iPad so far.
 
Milwaukee Bayshore says 2 weeks for 16G 3G

...but after reading the most recent posts in this thread I have hope my bud's will arrive in about a week's time (I had mine on launch day).

This makes #2 that he's bought, and I think I'm up to about 6 or 7 that people have bought after seeing mine. STEVE, WHERE'S MY COMMISSION CHECK? lol :p
 
Got the "magical" email today - Day 13.

Not THAT bad I guess, but it's longer than I'd have thought.

Did they have any 3g or was it just the wifi ones? Were you on the 'notify me' to get your ipad?
