New update from UPS last night, new date pushed to delivery Friday 30 Oct...still in Incheon though.
Mine is sitting in Incheon, but still no delivery schedule. Hope mine makes it on the same plane as yours.
UPS just updated my status to delayed - with no delivery date set. Reason being, “We were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled.”
Mine is in Louisville now. Delivery has been bumped up to tomorrow from November 2.
I’ve cancelled my pending order and will pick up a 256GB model at BestBuy today.
I just checked on mine, and the shipping date hasn't changed, but this model is available in the local Apple Store right now. I cancelled the one that was going to ship 11/16-11/19, and will pick up locally tomorrow. If you are in that situation, with an Apple Store nearby, can't hurt to check. Nothing was available locally yesterday. Yes! 
When I ordered on the 16th, My Space Gray 256GB Cell iPad Air was originally scheduled for delivery on 10/23. Then it was pushed back, to 10/30, now Apple says 11/3. UPS still has it in ZhengZhou, China - scanned every day and finally leaving overnight last night but no movement. Their deliver date went from 10/28 originally to "check back later" for the last three days. No 256GB cell models at any Apple store between Virginia Beach and DC. Hoping UPS gets it to Anchorage soon, until then there's no telling what is going on.
While inconvenient, the iPad delay isn't earth shattering. If this happens with my pending iPhone 12 Pro Max order that'll be different. I'm limping by on an iPhone 6s...

Mine did the same. Mine actually updated to October 29th then 26th... now it says maybe November 11-13. What’s weird/dumb is 32-days ago I saw on ups.com that my shipment was in Washington state.

Made it to Anchorage. What a cluster f, email right now, new delivery date of 2Nov: "We were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled."
Mine is still in Korea. The message on UPS says "We were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled" lol

Even better now it is in Peachtree GA? Noted as "We were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled. / Delivery will be delayed by one business day."
I got an email on Wed. saying it had been changed to Thursday delivery and now I have an email saying it'll deliver on Friday.
It's been in Atlanta since 3:48 PM Wednesday and I'm in Orlando. Every step of the way it says they were unable to get it on the plane as scheduled.

And now it's showing in Anchorage, Alaska again with a mechanical failure. What? How did it go from Anchorage to Peachtree City, GA and now in Anchorage again?
Bingo. Same for me. Magically transported back to Anchorage with a new note: "A mechanical failure has caused a delay. We will update the delivery date as soon as possible.".
This is a bad portent (so far...) for all the iPhone (12 Pro Max/Mini) delivery torture I expect starting in a couple of weeks. At least with that one we have enough people watching that someone will map out the planes that our Apple stuff is most likely on.
Ok, now it is in "Louisville, KY, United States" which would be great news if I believe it which I would like to.
I recommend everyone to check nearest Apple Store availability. A lot of them are getting shipments in now and might save you 2-3 weeks of waiting.
Repost: Okay, so I finally received mine today. After two full weeks and preordered it on the 15th. The people that are saying they are taking their new Airs back or returning them. I think you are all ridiculous and you’re giving up a perfect device. To the people that had issues straight out of the box, I’m sorry and I wish you could experience this tablet already. The speakers don’t sound amazing but they are definitely better than they used to be. Touch ID works flawlessly. The display is the best LCD I’ve ever seen in my life, and the bezels aren’t that much larger. The people complaining about the bezels being too large must have insanely small hands. If anyone has any questions about it and are still waiting. I’ll be happy to reply.
