iPad as a laptop replacement

I haven’t seen the option appear so far in the left-click menu for external drives. But it seems like it may still be under work, since it’s grayed out in the Menu Bar. 👍🏻. I’m guessing in a later beta, it may give us a little eject button right there on the drive in the side bar, just like on macOS. 👍🏻

I just tried my flash drive, didn’t see it in the right click menu either.

~160 hours in I have to say its pretty good so far. First few days it had some crashes and a couple of resprings. But all and all I can’t complain. Even the Geekbench scores are looking pretty good. They are on the same level as 18.5.

Curious. What would be the reason to need an eject button on a connected server? I mean, it's not physically plugged into a device like an sd card or usb stick is.

As a side note, you can eject a connected server in iOS and iPad OS 18.5 also.

Good catch. Hopefully they’re adding the eject option for external drives as well, and not just servers. 🙁

My wife’s just tried to go iPad Pro only and everything works for her except garage band!

You cannot do tempo changes on purchased or ripped CDs from music app.

This is a bummer because her MacBook air just broke and was hoping to avoid purchasing a new Mac.
